Hey man. I'm a woodworker by trade, but caught your channel when I was looking around at desktop setups (I need a desktop for doing design and client management etc). Number 1 - the setup is sick. So clean and well done. Awesome work. Number 2 - your energy is inspiring. Yours is a pure example and reminder that the right work environment is paramount to remaining motivated. Thank you dude. Best of luck in what you do. 🎯

So refreshing to see a desk setup that is not a fashion statement! These days it all always seems to be about the specific very expensive brands used and all setups end up looking the same. Your setup is absolutely geared towards YOUR productivity requirements and that's great! Cable management is also a product of very careful planning and that also shows! Your love for what you do shines through and I thoroughly enjoyed this video, thank you!

Really nice desk. I'd look at your Interbuild-Link and found that the product you'd linked are not exist anymore. Is this Product similar, or differ it in any way from the one you choosed? I am wondering about the color of your desk, and the images from the manufacturer. Your's looks warm with a redish color, but on Interbuild it looks more yellowish. Did you use a clear Hardwax Oil, or a colored one? As you are an professional Photographer... could you be so kind to share some more Images from the Desk (maybe with dailight, and without ambient-light) so that we can see, what exactly the Countertop looks like? Thanks in advanced.

Sick setup Ryan. And I thought I was the only one that didn’t like seeing cables. Got a ton of ideas including the task to check out remarkable 2 and I love bullet journaling. Two things I may share. Alfred launcher for Mac has calculator in line which is surprisingly easy as well as remembers historic clipboard choices. Additionally a monitor lamp. Benq makes a sick curved one but there are more affordable ones out there. That lighting source has been a game changer for me after switching to monitor arms. Anyway…back to enjoying looking at that wood grain. I have a carbon fiber looking top and would love to add that amount of warmth to my setup someday. Cheers!

this video makes me so happy. a lot of times i'll see setups n stuff that ultimately end up as "look at this very expensive thing" and "the same 12837489543th configuration of ikea parts" but this video has so much custom work, creativity and overall just passion for the things that have gone to make this setup unique. genuine excitement to share the elements present and whearas the handcrank is going to be seen from others as "ugh i cant just press a button and it does it for me, how lame" there's a unique reasoning as to why its a good thing aswell as admitting that it's not going to be the final form of it, cuz same as the person's needs and interests, its always changing, whereas a lot of people are quick to say this is "the perfect" or the "ultimate" setup, which comes off as cringe lol just outright lovely execution on your masterpiece

@@runthejoules deeper keycaps that trap the sound and offer ergonomic advantages to your typing through their profile, I think DSA keycaps are a good profile for most people but Im trying out some of the mt3 keycaps which are much taller. In terms of switches id suggest good tactiles if you type a lot, and with a better sound profile then blues. What helps have a much more satisfying sound would be a high profile keyboard, not a flat one like you have but with good keycaps and switches even a flat one can sound good, but you would have to stay away from clicky seitches like the blues. Maybe boba U4t would be good if you do enjoy tactile or glorious pandas or drop holy pandas if you have the budget.
