Glad you got it figured out. You will be VERY happy with Kevin Dunn. He tuned my 2001 2V and my 2004 Mach 1 and got me the hook up on a Fore return style system. He’s a tuning genius. Have him send you a sleeper sauce sticker too 👌🏻

Nicely done, you gotta love the easy fixes. I've never had any success tuning Fords with anything other than Superchips software, as you've demonstrated. I'm glad you finally got your Cobra back on the road.

I havent had any luck with HP tuners on any of the my 96-05ish ford products. Always SCT, never had a runability issues, it was always a connection or logging or flashing error. Glad you sorted it out and continues to keep from me using HP tuners on any of my turn of the century fords.

Great content as always, good to hear you finally have a resolution. On that note, crazy to hear how these cars all respond differently to Tunes. I went from SCT to HP and my car has been great for the last 4 years. My only concern is that in my area there are very little shops that support HP. Thankfully i haven't needed to make any drastic changes. I kept my SCT in case i ever decide to go back.

I went with Venomous Tuning when i had my 2010 GT500, and he was great 👍. Had to upgrade injectors and vmp booster pumps. It was a enormous difference. Hope it works out for you.

Just throwing it out for anyone that has a hemi or old magnum engine, hemifever is a very good tuner. Did my brothers pcm swap, and emailed back and forth tunes on a 2016 5.7. Shut off the cylinder deactivation. Even tuned my 2001 ram 5.2 almost 13 years ago.

I went for the lethal return system that runs with bigger pumps without the fpdm and frps and no bap. 3 less headaches to worry about. Glad you finally found the issue!

@@ChrisSullivan69 Thanks Chris. I am breaking in a new engine. I lost the first from a fuel washdown caused by a faulty FRPS which dumped gasoline into the crankcase, killing the pistons and rings. You wanna talk about leaving a smoke trail?!! I am glad to be setup now without that sensor on my engine! The return system allows the deletion of it.

Kenny bell boost a pump and fuel pump that came with (dont know what was the end issue) was the cause of a ton of issues loosing fuel pressure on my 08 z06. It would loose pressure after the car got hot, may be a car issue. Generally OEM pumps have 2x the ability to keep up with stock fuel needs, if even at high RPMs (not E85). Anyway, put back in stock pump and fixed everything....

One thing I do miss about older cars is the ease of access to the fuel tank. For my 6th gen Camaro, you have to drop the whole rear out of the car or cut an accces hole in the rear bench to change the in tank pump.

I have a computer chair near my bed. In that chair is about 3 t-shirts, 3 pairs of Nike shorts and my ammo plate carrier. I wear the shirts and shorts until i can smell them, then change them out. 💪 I have a 95 mustang that i tune with MS2. I would first thought it was an issue with acceleration enrichment tuning upon tip-in.🤔 As a joke, put a long zip tie on a friend's drive shaft and watch them drive away. It's about the same racket you heard with that shredded belt😄
