My Cocker Spaniels favourites! || Oakley's most used items

Lovely video, thank you Sarah-Louise. My cocker spaniel loves her toys too. I didn't know we could buy stuffless toys. I will look out for them. Jenny loves socks too and pants. I don't have a tumble drier so I hang the washing on an airer when it's raining. Naturally, Jenny steals what she can, when she can so I let her help me take the washing out of the washing machine. Then she is allowed to have one thing - a dishcloth, which she can play with for a little while and then I put it back in the machine for the next time. That seems to satisfy her at the moment. I don't let Jenny have all the toys all the time. I put some in a bag on top of the bookcase, out of her reach and that way she gets a 'new' one every day. She doesn't tire of them that way and we don't trip over them all of the time. We are taking Jenny to puppy training classes at the moment, but they are not helping much. I feel that we, the owners, are being trained, but the dogs seem to enjoy it, up to a point. All Jenny wants to do is play with the other dogs and that is not allowed so she spends most of the hour pulling on the lead to get to the other dogs! Thank you for the toy tips and the bed tip.

That is so sweet, the thing you do with the washing, so lovely! We also do the 'new' toy thing, it works really well! I'm so sorry about the puppy class, I would have thought the whole point of the class would be the trainers would control things like that! Please don't let it put you off, maybe try a different provider next, there are definitely some out there that will help. I do understand your frustration though, that is exactly how I felt with Oakley's agility classes x

I love seeing the Oakley videos. You have worked so hard at training him and he is such a lovely boy. I am hoping to get a dog in the future and find your hints and tips very useful 💙
