Dye made oil slick guns in the 2000s. It was different than this anno though. It’s a plating. Some places do it now and most call it prism.

Since the recording of this video have you noticed any issues with your era. For me specifically: 68-4500 tank (pro v2 reg with removed shims) I’m getting about 5 pods and a hopper. The trigger was perfect first time out , second time it is sluggish and even sticks. I’ve “loosened” up the trigger drastically and will be heading to the field in about two weeks to see if it’s helped.

@@CoilBoyRunning No, I haven’t had any issues. It’s crazy how much variance there can be amongst the same marker. Over the years you hear how someone had a flawless marker and someone else had nothing but problems… I’ve managed to always have great working guns, except autocockers, they hate me haha.

The anno looks great. Just a correction though. They call it the Era because they took cues from the shoe box shocker (the back cap specifically), the SFT and NXT, not the RSX and XLS.

It’s been awhile since I’ve shot an Amp… but this shoots very very nice! If I remember correctly this is way smoother and just feels like an overall better shot quality than the Amp.

The Era has a softer shot and a quieter tone to it. The bolt has holes on the back which releases the air pulse a little more gradually than the Amp or any other gamma core gun.

Are you able to wiggle the back cap and bleed air even when the gun is on and aired up?

The back cap will wiggle. That's just how it is, there's nothing wrong with it and it isn't a sign of poor quality. Yes, you can bleed air when it's gassed up if you fully turn the cap (it won't wiggle loose and bleed air). If you turn the back cap when it's aired up, all that happens is air is released, the bolt won't fly out of the gun or anything like that.
