I had almost the exact same thing with my parents where my dad saw my twitter and told my mum about it. Then she asked me when I got home from school that day if I was and I just said yes. They were totally fine with it and it's never really been a big deal. I had already told my brother and friends and never had a bad reaction so I was quite lucky really to have such supportive people around me.

It's funny how even in an environment you know is safe to come out, we are still hesitant to do it. Goes to show everyone experiences this fear no matter what the circumstances, but it's not until the coming out is over that we realize what a heavy burden we were carrying.

OMG @Neil McNeil me too ! Lol this girl in my English class last year had a huge crush on me and we went out to a party once and she was kind of the first friend I told about it. She took it so well and now she is one of my closest friends. Funny how shit works out huh XD

Bewildered by the fact that the words traveled to your brothers middle school. like really!?!?! The only people that know Im gay are the friends and family that I physically told myself. suspiciously, the 5 or so gay guys at my school know that im gay now. Interesting how that happened.

Well, my Gaydar must be malfunctioning. I don't see you as effeminate at all. A little demonistrative in the emotional department, but not really effeminate. I would have thought I had died and gone to heaven if I had met anybody like you in my high school days.
