i would want something to the effect of this; after reality is fixed following Z-ARC's revival and defeat, Zorc Necrophades is able to use the reality reset to bring himself back from the dead. he then resurrects the most dangerous antagonists from other eras of the show as puppet minions with the goal of restarting the war with the pharoah with backup, but learns of the numeron code from the revived don thousand and shifts his goal to that instead; why bother restarting a war win you can just win it instantly? he spends a lot of time scheming in the background for this- enough for later shows to occur, like vrains and POSSIBLY sevens, and brings back the relevant foes there too. astral is able to figure this out, but is unwilling to use the numeron code to directly solve the problem, as doing so involves getting close enough to give the bad guys the chance to take it, due to how much power zorc holds. instead, he examines earth's history and uses the numeron code to pull the heroes who stopped those antagonists originally from their time periods, in the hopes that he would not need to use the code. he also re-gives yuma access to number monsters unrelated to the code. the bad guys try to big-brain things at first; marik (taking a page from other fanwork writers and running the wicked avatar instead of ra due to yugi owning ra) is sent to fight yuma, who uses a lot of attack manipulation effects. nightshroud goes against yuya because his darkness 1 trap can just generally ruin any attempts to set pendulum scales. goodwin is sent to fight yugi because wiraqocha rasca's protection list is just generally unfair against a DM era deck, and yugi doesn't run many lifepoint boosters, and so on for the rest. end it with a big tag duel of all the protagonists teaming up against zorc, who's using an anime-consistency-fixed pile of all his minions' decks, now centered on the strategy of ritual summoning an updated retrain of dark master zorc.

The series have really shifted over time to be more Sci-fi based, but it'd be neat to see some of the spiritual connection, especially in connection to the new lore heavy archetypes. Some incident with Branded (and alllll the connected archetypes to it) in the spirit world throwing the future of the card game into peril and causing the systems the protagonists play to start glitching out. The heroes all find their way there and have to duel against the worst of the duel spirits causing problems in.

Honestly, MR4/5 gives us the perfect plot for a YGO story. Invaders from the Link Dimension or smt invade other dimensions, imposing MR4 on everyone they defeat. The main character cast need to figure out the power of Link summoning, get their own Link cards to regain access to their full Extra Deck power, and eventually break the limit on their summoning mechanic to be able to summon to the Main Monster Zones again, entering MR5 (and the Pendulum protagonist failing, which is why Pendulum is still restricted).

I had an idea a while back for a post GX story with most of the GX crew with the main focus on being Jaden and Alexis (plus some cameos from the OG yugioh cast). Idea kinda came from wanting to see both casts using their new support cards and that this is the one world where you don't need weird time travel/portals to make it work. The story would start with Jaden still on his travels but Yubel/Banner notice that Jaidens been off a bit but he’s not sure why. He run into a roaming Mai who’s having bike trouble and offers to help out. Jaden eventually challenges Mai to a duel (where she could use her new harpies and maybe even the xyz but make it a fusion). During the duel Jaiden learns about Mai’s struggles of running from her friends for her betrayal and can relate to that (supreme king arc) slowly. As the duel concludes he is able to convince her that she should go back. As she heads off he Jaden reflects that it has been a while since he’s seen his gang and heads to duel academy to see if he can track them down. Jaden being the wandering nomad he has been doesn’t have much money but is able to hook a ride with a fisherman whose heading out that way. The fisherman turns out to be Mako (rocking the new Fisherman support.

 Meanwhile Alexis is dealing the struggles of assistant teaching on her way to her license, finding difficulties connecting with her students. She takes a small vacation to her brothers, where he suggests that maybe she should duel it out to find that spark. Kaibi corp is hosting a big duo tournament to promote a new technology and suggests she enters. (Says she will think about and then heads back to work) (Running out chars so long story short) Jaden accidentally winds up as the substitute teacher that was suppose to replace Alexis. They eventually meet back up and they decide to partner for the tournament. Tournament has a lot of tag teams of GX and OG ( Mai + Joey, Zane + Cyrus, etc). Maybe Chumley makes some cool custom card for some his friends enter to make their decks synergise (cyber angel hero fusion) Might be too long for a movie but thought it could be a cool fan-service catching up with the cast idea.

Mine idea is not so much a movie, but an entire series based around the concept and expanding it. Set between the events of Sevens and Go Rush, as Yuga and Otes reach hyperspace towards the end of their final duel, something unexpected happens. Reaching this realm and releasing such excess energy from it, frees the deadliest of foes (Paradox) from the depths of subspace to enact a new scheme. Doing away with Otes in an instant, Paradox "thanks" Yuga for his efforts by distorting numerous realities of time and space at the same time and throwing him into one of these distorted realities. The series would focus on Yuga travelling across these distorted realities to gather allies old and new to try and fix the damage he's created in freeing Paradox, where he'll have to deal with the fallout of his own creation and adapt to numerous dueling styles if he's to have a slim chance of overcoming this revived foe. The more i thought about the ancient times one is when i realized that that could not only tie in to the dimension split in Arc-V but also tie into Astral from Zexal. There could be gods of each summoning method we currently have and the gods of Synchro, Link, Pendulum, and Xyz (which would be Astral) helped the heroes in their quest from time to time but when it came down to make their sacrifice, all the gods, except the Ritual and Fusion gods who weren't present, Got caught in the blast and different things happen to them. Astral loses his memories with the number cards like in Zexal, the Synchro god is split into 2 versions of themselves and get flung into different dimensions. Using their own Summoning method to eventually reunite and become one. The Link god also gets split but into 5 pieces and each one is split into the other 4 dimensions except for 1 which is stuck in it's own and it's more or less the same concept as the Synchro god except the one stuck in their own dimension becomes king there and refuses to reunite with the other 4 becuase they don't wanna lose their power, duel happens and the 4 win though the magic of friendship (and a gun they found lol) and they form the Link god. And the Pendulum god is basically almsot the same plot of ARC-V XD

I'd be down to see a movie or movies where it's literally just a tournament of yugioh protagonist and rival characters. Excluding Rush, we're at 6. So with their rivals that makes 12. That saves 4 slots for other characters like Joey to make it 16. Could be Joey, Astral, Crow and then Alister, Chazz or Zane depending on who you view as Jaden's rival and what would be the most hype. Bonds Beyond Time was a bit over 2hrs long. In the anime, they usually have some nonduel story and then a duel. An episode is like 20 minutes so a normal duel is like 10-15 minutes. You could fit the first 12 duels into a movie. Especially if you pull screen time for certain matches people wouldnt care about as much like Sharks. Then the second movie can be the semi finals and finals and they either have a villain interrupt so that they don't have to confirm who the best duelist is, or they can do what Clue did and create different versions of the duels that play in different theaters. They'd only have to change the last turn or two to change the winner. Then create 8 duels total based on the 4 semi finalists and the 4 potential finals. If they want to milk it even more, throw in some new ace monsters. Give some out for the movie and release others a booster. Jaden has super poly so it wouldn't be weird for him to win a duel with a new Neos fusion. Yugi can run DM staples like change of hearts to get a new Dark Magician fusion. Maybe one of the future protagonists gives a card to a past protagonist as a thanks for the good duel and we see Yusei Link or XYZ summon something requiring two Synchro monsters. There plenty to get creative with. Also an opportunity for Yuma saying "Synchro what" since they just didn't appear in his series. And an opportunity for Yusei's bike Vs. Playmakers surfboard.

I would love to see a thing along the lines of this one game I can't remember the name of. Basically, we follow Yuya (obviously) as he's getting ready to start his adult life with Zuzu. They're then interrupted by Yuya having strange and physically painful visions of past events from all the other Yugioh series up to him. Yusei defeating Zone, Yugi/Atem defeating Zorc, Jaden defeating The Darkness, etc etc. Then, Yuma and Yusaku are brought into the story through them having similar visions. They're brought into Yuya's dimension through yet unknown means, and have to confront a new threat. But instead of purely dueling it, they can summon their monsters to solid form and use them to fight (yes like stands). You could go crazy with it.

honestly, u could open a new timeline that only consists of the paradox timeline and them failing to get the first 3 then they split the dimensions and they called that into the arc V and then as they tried invading zarc broke their time machine indirectly and it got delayed to vrainz then they finally are able to battle it out with the millennium pieces holders and take control of pegasus, and then pegasus vs the entire story line, but the issue would be the mess of a 1 v 6 duel with Z-ARC U-Link already take up the entire space of a field, so probably like a 1 v 2 and then some giant combo attack that wins them the duel or something. so i'd assume yusaku and yugi, yuya and jaden, yuma and yusei then they all have to fight their alternatives play styles. so the first duo would be synchro xyz, the second would be ritual link and the third would be pendulum fusion. and then some random mega wave blast that wins the entire battle vs the opponents boss monster. The archetype would be insanely broken if it was a 1 set that had all extra deck summoning types, so maybe something like meklords? in todays age anything can be viable so idk.

Paradox goes back in time to the DM era, but just so he can win a bunch of prize money by realising that the starting LP is 2,000 (and latterly 4,000) and he can just play a deck of 40 burn spell cards. We open up to an alternate version of the Zarc arc where he has basically won, Ray for some reason didnt manage to possess Riley and the area is a war zone of defeated duelists. In his attempts to merge all the Dimensions Zarc learns that not only are they alternate versions of the original 4 dimension but there exists a 5th dimension the LINK DIMENSION. And so Zarc invades the Link Dimension and starts reeking havoc using his new support games aswell as stealing Firewall Dragon and making a Supreme King Dragon version of it thus leading Yusaku to look into the past and enlist the help of Yugi, Jaden, Yusei and Yuma to save their dimensions from being merged together and to rescue Yuya

My idea would be a backdoor pilot to a new series: Jaden gets attacked by a duel monster in disguise named Yuzuru who is a scout to an incoming assault on the real world by the Duel Monsters world, formed after Jaden and Yubel terrorized it, and Jaden is forced to team up with Yugi to stop the assault. As more and more Duel Monster scouts come through to attack the real world, they start using summons that aren't in DM or GX, and Yusei comes back in time to help the protagonists, coming from a future where the world is reduced to a post-apocalyptic hellhole by the war. They have to learn the new summon techniques in order to combat Yuzuru and his entourage, and in the end, manages to convince him to turn traitor and try to end the war with the Duel Monsters. We also see a council of Duel Monsters made up of the Match Winner prize cards from the past coordinating the attack on the real world. It would then spin off into its own series, with Yuzuru as the protagonist trying to bring a peaceful resolution to... THE DS WAR!

This only came to me after the thread ended but: Paradox showing up causes weird side effects, shuffling summoning mechanics around. Only the protags notice. To make things normal again they have to learn mechanics on the fly and beat their respective rivals. Jaden gets Synchros, Yusei gets XYZs, Yuma gets Fusions, Yuya gets Links and Yusaku gets nothing. The final scene is Yugi VS Kaiba, DM VS Blue-Eyes, both of which have been turned into Pendulum decks with Endymion levels of text on each card. Honestly I just wanna see what'd happen if DM or Blue-Eyes got a full pend overhaul. Not how they'd play or anything, just how boomers would react.

We NEED a duel links movie, imagine when all the characters are added and the servers are about to go down we get ONE LAST event where kaiba tries to finally bring back the pharoah and the vrains characters realize what kaibas doing is insane and try to stop him, but people like jaiden yuya jim quattro and joey love the duel links world so they would attempt to fight to keep duel links going by dueling a Resistance formed by characters like yusaku shay yuto Declan varis and team 5ds, AND YOU THE PLAYER had to choose a side, either you play as characters on team duel links like kaiba and half of team gx to keep duel links going or you take the side of team resistance with shay Declan and most of team vrains to take kaibas inhumane nightmare world down, HOW COOL DOES THAT SOUND, Characters from every series interacting and dueling each other for the fate of the virtual world.

My idea is more of dimensions crossing. First EP would take place where kiba left off in Darkside of dimensions facing off against atem using new cards more of a recap.ep 2. a dimensions with no protagonist summons the first 6 protagonist to a in battle (requires more details have but not written) for more details just comment if interested. This is something to continue the first 6 protagonist time line and ending to their stories.
