I was a miler in high school. You had to be on a sports team to get an "A" in phys ed. The milers were all pretty scrawny. Now, many decades later, I feel like I am a mile _wide_ instead LOL. You obviously are very well preserved. Thanks for the shoe tour, I dress quite to very conservatively, so there were some in there that I hadn't seen before (since I always buy the same color (black) and style dress and casual shoes).

Hello Antonio, Thank you so far for so many great videos. I'm current having 4 dress shoes/boots: 1. Bristish tan wingtip oxford 2. Navy suede double monkstrap (I thought it's safe choice with navy color but actually it's really hard to pull it off) 3. Tan nubuck chelsea boots 4. Dark brown chukka boots I'm travel alot and dress smart causual, now I'm looking for a new pair of shoes/boots, maybe a loafer. What do you recommend in term of style, color, leather . I have two questions about shades of color and materials. I cannot wear, without feeling uncomfortable, dark and light shade colors. (except for business suits with white shirts). I have a nice tan sport coat that I would like to wear with a deep dark green shirt but I can't because I feel funny. With a light tan sport coat I have to wear lighter shade colors. Is this just me or does it look funny to put a deep shade with a lighter shade (again except for white shirts with dark suits). The second issue is I generally wear linen pants in the summer but I feel uncomfortable wearing these wrinklie pants with a regular light wool sport coat. The wrinkled pants seem odd with a regular crisp sport coat. Again am I out of step and can I wear this combination ? Thank you.

Rmrs is one of the greatest channels for men on this platform and I, as a young male adult, watched it quite a lot until last year. However, I noticed quite a drop in views of your videos and I think that is mostly due to the fact that you are talking about niche or elitist topics like this. By making videos on topics like this you come off like all you care about are superficial things. In recent videos it is not hard to notice lack of your true passion of teaching men relevant dressing tips or skills. Videos in which you show off your shoe or watch collection are not something that you are about, because you are much more than that. You came from nothing, went through tremendous hardships, made a success out of yourself and have been a continious source of inspiration for many young men like myself. Your honest stories and personal experience from military and your life in general, helped me a lot on my way of becoming a true man. Thanks to you, now I'm actually contemplating to start something similar myself, but that's a story for another time. What I want to say is this: I think that you are experiencing a burn out and a lack of new ideas for your channel, because you covered every or almost every relevant topic there is. I hope that you will come back strong with topics that are relevant to broader male audience. Wish you all the best on this journey, you truly deserve it😎💪

Antonio, do you know when like oxfords and other dress shoes started having a cap toe? Did the cap toe come first or was the whole cut first then the cap toe came later? When I think of this countries founding fathers I think that they all wore whole-cut shoes.

Thirty years ago I had eight pairs of cowboy boots in either 'gator or ostrich in addition to tac boots and runners. My call sign was _Marcos._ They tried _Imelda_ first, but that proved painful. Now I have a pair of hikers, cross trainers and a black oxford (Allen Edmonds), and a pair of slippers. Life get simpler when it passes you by.

Cedar shoe trees, my friend! You can usually pick up two pairs off of Amazon for about $40. If you have leather shoes you care about, do yourself a favor and get shoe trees. They maintain the shape of the sole, protect against moisture damage, and prevent cracking in the leather.
