I also consider the father ending to be the canon one. its the one I picked because having him die made the most sense to me because it fit in so well with this character arc. He'll make it up to his family and get them to Oregon, even if it means they have to live on without him. Of course, I didn't know the deaths wouldn't be permanent lmao edit: oh and I don't agree with your rankings. like at all. calling them controversial is right.
