Exactly what I’m looking for after coming back to the game after 2 years. I had pretty everything maxed up till Bertrand, except for Edward, Charlemagne, Amanitore, Ramesses, CJ and Mulan. Two years later, the meta is completely shifted, all the new commanders does AoE with 2.5k dmg factors, 50%+ stat bonuses, and be able to use active for the second time. Commanders that I used to use, like nebu/ysg, pakal harold, attlia/takeda, guan/Leo/, Trajan/scipio/, Nev/William ,Honda/XY are mostly outdated. This give me time to focus on meta, and not worry about the newest cavs.

As new player was hoping to invest in new Meta commander for longevity. If you got Nevesky when he was released you got great value. Will likely roll with Nevesky/Joan as first cav march in a few months.

I do think it's good for the game if the power creep slows or stops. Flesh out the formations. Provide niche commanders for the whales etc.

Only have one cav march...nevsky joan. Was hoping for a aoe smite cav commander but im not mad. I can wait till a few more cycles. Im hoping next infantry can replace Guan but highly unlikely

I do like that she isn't OP and it hopefully means that the new comandes coming out won't be too OP letting new players catchup and lower the gap. I hope they continue to do commanders like this that are good but not OP

AAAAND Nope. Cav are very verstile in field, as inf is garrison and archer on rallies. If you look newest inf and arch in field, they serve multiple roles. Cavs should be the best in field.

I agree, these comms are lousy and it's good for the game. It is exactly what people wanted - slower power creep in commanders. I expertised Ashur as a cav secondary. I'm considering expertising Honda or YSG now as a cav secondary.

I wouldn’t say ZL is better than Nevsky, Joan, or Huo. I’d also argue that Joan P is better than Scipio for open field.
