I would describe my room as a work in progress. Lol I'm trying to go for a moody boho look with green shades. But I'm so indecisive with which decor to choose like pictures and such. That's why your videos help me so much.

Love how it turned out. So cozy. My bedroom is still a work in progress but for me I want it to feel like I felt spending the summers on Whidbey Island at my grandparents 1940’s cabin. It was in the family for 80 years and for 53 years of my life. It had a mix of old and somewhat newer furnishings and fixtures. What I am looking to find is the perfect bed frame. One that feels antique even if it isn’t. From there I will be able to vision the room much better.

Your bedroom looks so cozy Steffi! And Helo is a joy! When I am facing a ''big'' project that requires a bit of work, I always remind myself that I will live in that space for years to come... and that's what motivates me! But it wasn't always like that and it was actually a huge lesson. When I moved in my current apartment I installed a full wall of open closet and put my bed on the opposite wall... only to regret choosing the side of the room I had put my clothes on after less than a week. Yet, I spent TWO YEARS regretting my choice but felt to lazy to fix it. Two years of being unhappy with my decision every time I was stepping in my bedroom! Finally after two years I decided to tackle the project of flipping things around and got it done... over a weekend. About 5h of work total, even repainting a wall black along the way to achieve the complete vision I had. Two years of being unhappy with my bedroom, fixed over a weekend? Now I don't wait to tackle stuff around my home that annoys me. No way I will be unhappy for so long again when a few hours and it's done! The effort is always worth it!

You decorate the way I do. I usually don't measure anything. I just put it up by eyeballing it. However, if something is half an inch off, I will have to do it over. My late husband told me I was a knit picker. But I said no, I'm a perfectionist.

Hi Steffi, I look forward to your vlogs every Sunday. I'm obsessed with your Style and find myself copying in my apartment . You have the best roommate ever, Helo is a great 😺! I also have a cat for a roommate and enjoy his company. I enjoyed today's bedroom styling. I thought maybe you could take down one of the paintings above your bed and have just the 2 centered above the bed. The 3rd painting maybe put it above the industrial desk. If not I still love the finished decor especially the amber colored vase . The pompous grass maybe move back into the living room, even though you need some height there. Love love your style. The room is coming along. In my eyes the 3 panels above the bed don’t work with the mirror style above the desk. It’s like you crammed items on the wall to fill the space. Empty space says more items not working with each other. Love the bed and bed furnishings. Good luck 🍀. 🕊💙🪷🕉🙏🏻❤️

Wearable blankets doesn't fit for me. 🥲 I would love to, but doesn't work for me: i live in country with hot weather, and my body temperature is high 😂 . But if i live in a cold weather country i would love to wear it
