At 9:25, after Black plays ...b5, try countering with b4, which prevents Black from advancing his pawn to that square. If Black plays Qxb4, White can now counter with Rb1, which attacks the queen and piles up on Black's b5 pawn, nullifying that threat. And if Black does NOT play Qxb4, then the queen has to move to a square where it cannot protect both its b5 and e5 pawns.

I don't see any forks with the knight, but instead you can just take the queen with the knight right away? So the queen wouldn't take the bishop probably. It would still be very dangerous for white but I don't see the fork you are referring to

1:11 after Qxd6, instead of playing d3, why can't the knight on h8 be moved to f7? It is protected by the bishop and attacks the queen! Depending on where the queen moves, knight can then jump to g5 or capture the pawn on e5. Or white can play any other move after the queen moves.

@Eric At 12:53 you have 1 min 14 secs left on the clock ... you get checked ... and you have to chose between KD1 or KD3 ... no other choices ... WHY THINKING ABOUT "what will happen" after D3 if you have no real choice anyway ... you need to use the opponent time to think about what to do next ... so you wasted 21 seconds to do the obvious move at 13:15 ... Would you have won the game with 21 seconds extra time? ... Am not pro but I have play 1000s of Blitz & Rapid (my rating is 1822) knowing how to use opponent time to think what to do next by default.

I take the bishop on F2 and go King G1 when knight E4 check.. You trap your rook in the corner.. but it seems to go ok anyway, there's just not many attacks for black from what I could see in my analysis. By that point you're up a Bishop and a rook for your likely-to-be-trapped knight The other option is to reverse traxler - Bishop F7 instead of Knight F7 just wins a pawn, then I retreat with the bishop and go for the fried liver-like attack anyway. But am low rated.. just studied up on the traxler lol
@maxchehov88923 жыл бұрын
Wonder if playing Qf5 on 15:23 as black is a good move. It prevents Kxa8 because of mate in one with Qc8. And if king is not taking the rook I would probably play Qc8 next move anyway.
