@Rita cipolloni. I feel the same way. Love love love her. I was so depressed today and she brought me completely out of it. Been binge watching her all day. I’m a dog lover and finding Pollux I found her. I’ve never met anyone like her ever in my life. So authentic and warm and eclectic with so many interests like myself. Thx for sharing and knowing that you love her as much as I do. Things are so political here where I am and every one is so divided and nasty. I’m alone have no friends or family anymore so meeting RENE just lifted me up and gave me hope that there are such good ppl out there like her. I haven't gone gray yet because I don't have a lot and what I have sticks up all over, but I am curly. I wash my hair once a week, sometimes twice, but my hair never gets oily. You have such an amazing head of curls and your gray only enhances it! I'm ready for mine to get grayer so I can grow it out. My mom is all gray now and her curls are so beautiful since she stopped coloring. Pollux. 💕🐾❤️

HI!! I love, love your curly hair explanation videos! I wish I had this guidance back when I was young. I am a curly hair as well and I understand all your issues and wording existing or not on how curly hair feels and looks -- there are really no words to explain curly hair issues, LOL! I pretty much follow the same rules: I wash on day 3, I normally just start picking up my hair leading up to day 3, I do however, have to wet my hair to make it come to life and just retouch with the same product cuz that works for me. It took me years to understand my hair and love it as well - I used to hate it when I was in high school. Now my goal is to go gray like you. I've recently found that it has become harder and harder to keep up with the dyeing - it just doesnt last as long anymore. I have expressed this to my hairstylist so that we can find a smoother transition. Thank you for being a curly hair enthusiast!!!

I think your hair looks good each day.....no need to pull it up or back! Your hair is waaaaaaay curlier than mine but I'll tell you what I do (i usually get 3 days cuz it looks a little dirty by then.) Day 1, wash and apply alcohol free gel (I use Biotera from Sally Beauty), air dry and scrunch. I pull my hair up at night too. Day 2 and 3, I pull it down, finger comb and then spritz with a water bottle and apply a teeeeeeeny bit more gel for definition. Scrunch away at it and sometimes hit it with a diffuser for some volume.

I just fell in love with your hair first time I saw it! Has encouraged me to stop curling and/or blow drying and/or brushing my hair and instead let my natural curls do their own thing! I've stopped washing it daily too. I really appreciate your help showing me how to care for it. I have fine hair too and not as much as you so my curls are little more wavy instead of in ringlets. I have some of same problems you have -- my front top wants to fall down in my face and I have trouble getting volume at the crown. Anyway, thanks again for showing me how to care for my curls. Excuse me now, I need to get some sleep so I can go shopping tmw for silk scrunchie, silk pillowcase, and some wide hairbands!

Hi Debbie. I don’t use a co-wash. When I wash my hair, I just like a sudsy, foamy, good smelling, scrub my head hair washing. Pollux is generally close bubwhen I’m filming 🐶 and I’ll be releasing a video with him soon. Stay tuned 💗

I go 7 days with wavy/curly gray hair and I refresh with water and a little gel/conditioner, as the week wears on I comb it with a wide tooth comb. My hair is about a 2b/2c not as tight as yours but I find it needs moisture in the form of water.

Hey Renee you really do have the most amazing unique hair! Watching this video I couldn’t think of anyone I’d seen with similar hair!! You mentioned before your mum had really short hair.. did you inherit the curls from her side of the family? Do your siblings have similar hair? I think the frizz could be helped if you put some leave in conditioner and water in a bottle and spritz the hair and smooth the curls down just a bit. Don't saturate just spritz...but it will moisturize the dry hair and frizz indicates thirsty hair....give it a try!

You could be me. I know exactly what you are doing and why because mine is the same. Even the earrings. The only thing I have to say is that the top of your head is so much better than mine. That part of my hair used to be too straight for the rest of my curly hair. But now, in the past two years, it's gotten kinky - not nice. It is my problem area, which I don't love because it's the most visible part of my hair!

i do partly a kinda like you do. i spray little water in my hair on the days after and scrunch it with my hands. I wash my hair once at week. I’ve got today a short flapper bob haircut and it’s so effortless. Your hair is totally beautiful no matter what. Every day it’s the same lovely hair. 💕

what would be the effect of twisting it into 12-15 rope twists every night before bed? i could be wrong, but some of the techniques that we super curlies use just might benefit you, too. it would definitely help with the curl ‘degrade’ you’re getting after day 2... thanks for sharing! 😉

@@WelcomeToMyCurls it depends. if it's not too frizzy, a very light serum before twisting. in the naturally frizzy places, a superfine misting of water/serum before twisting. then secure the ends with a non-rubber band. you can also spot-treat areas that have their own 'agenda'... it works because it resets the bonds in the hair (like the dent from wearing a hairband). your husband is gonna LOVE this look at night before bed, haha.🤣
