Self care is so important! I love this look and that it’s simple. I never leave the house without makeup as a Norwegian I am blonde and have no color in my eye brows or lashes😩so unless I want to scare someone I put makeup on and plus it makes me feel better and more confident. Thank you so much for your last few videos about self love! I turned 70 this past December. No age has ever bothered me like a lot of my friends. But this one really snuck up and slapped me hard. All the negatives.....what have you done in life to make a difference....why are you sill concerned with skincare when you will probably be dead by 80!! I have been doing much better by making lists of what I have accomplished and all the blessings I have been given. I would love your expertise on skincare for my age. I found out that I had Rejuvaus in my overwhelming arsenal of skincare. I have the AHA cleanser and the ABC Serum. I have always been one who is in search of the next miracle. I want 2 more Rejuvaus products but why? I honestly feel if I had started with that line even 10 years ago it would have had enough time to improve my skin. But at 70 with the cost I know there has to be something to keep my skin healthy. Would you please help me with that? I like to use products from the same brand but I am getting better about believing the products won't work if they are not from the same line. You are a beautiful woman inside and out. I totally agree how life can put u in a dark place and self care can really help u to feel a little better and more relaxed!!! For a long time now I have really hated myself, from the damage I hav done to my face when i was younger n can’t afford to fix, health problems u can’t get diagnosed or treatment and waking up one day in ur 40s and realizing u are living a life u dnt want, one u thought at one time u wanted but was to immature to realize it’s not the life meant for u, n etc but it’s to late to go back and take the other path so u must find happiness somehow!!! When i can afford to I really enjoy self care one day I really hope my income will allow me to really get back to taking care of myself and enjoying it!!!

Thank you so very much for this video. My heart goes out to you and your daughter and husband. Life altering illness not only emotionally but physically can drag you down. This video is exactly what I needed. My mom died November 13th from COPD. It's been devastating. I live with my parents taking care of them. They've been married 64 years . Mom was 87. My dad and i both got covid after mom passed now he's also diagnosed with COPD. My brother 3 years younger (59) doesn't understand he has major brain trauma from a fall and lives in a assisted living home . I gave up taking care of me. You your successes and heartaches inspire me. Tomorrow is a new day. Makeup lol. My story isn't new or special but one of many of us out here that knows life is precious and we just need that atta girl boost. I've watched you for 2 or 3 years now and appreciate all you provide. Yes to the City Lips lip plumper - it's soooooooooooo good. I have a couple of shades and I'm besotted. Sometimes, when the pain is really hitting home, I just can't get motivated. You have no idea how much I needed to watch this video and listen to you. I'm going through chemo right now with no hair. I'm good most days but there are days when I feel like everything takes so much just to get through the day. The thing that helps me is that I work from home and we have Teams meetings and just putting on makeup makes me feel better. I put on a cute scarf and it feels like a transformation some days! Cancer won't define me - only I can define me. You are right we will all get through this. Your daughter is in my prayers!

A lovely look! Right now I'm using Tatcha's Dewy Skin Cream, then apply Elta's Facial Sunscreen. Both leave a dewy look without being too "shiny." I am pretty fair, so a bit of lip color also helps brighten my face!

Hi Elle , I love the video. Fabulous idea!! Thank you for the tips & the introduction to some new products. I have been the same way, letting skin care go, make- up. Then for a bit when I would get back on track, I'd start my makeup at 7am & not finish until 4 pm because I didn't have a minute! I find fragrance helps me. Perfume has always helped me. Using my Glycolic pads, using cream blush, lipstick, and cream eyeshadow. It especially helps when I pass a mirror. I feel a bit normal. Definitely, going to try those sheet masque. Have you tried the Lancôme Tient Idole Ultra Wear Concealer? I’m on my 3rd and love it, so light weight and natural and doesn’t get funky. I am saying a prayer for you. I am a Christian and my armor is spending time in God's word. That is sometimes listening to a sermon while I apply skincare and makeup.
