Dude, you got a great guitar there! I have a pre-EB Music Man Stingray I from 1977. Those guitars were equipped with active Fullerton pickups with four-way rotary knobs as pickup selectors. They also added a bright switch, and boosts for bass and treble. The guitar weighs about the same as a P Bass. Check them out! Cheers.

Sorry, but I don't get this. Was it too much for you to relocate the switch on your other sting ray? And you have a dozen guitars that are all suitable for drop C# so I don't really get the alibi for getting a new one. If it holds up and it'll be your main axe for several years to come - great. But what about the Balaguer guitars? Aren't they good enough all of a sudden? I know It's your money and your choice, I'm just confused.

Little less like a strat. More lower body. It balances very nicely. Very similar neck profile to a Cutlass though.

It's a variation on the Dustin Kensrue sig model which has a singlecoil in the neck :)
