Andrew Wild ah great, im waiting for a daytona grey SQ7 with the white 21" (the thin spoked) and comfort seats, so pumped! it has B&O sound, ceramic brakes, everything except black optics and no tinted windows!

So as a SQ7 owner, I'd say he doesn't have a fully specced one. It's missing 360 cameras, Night vision (thermal camera), Parking Assistance Pack (blank button) etc. I have the ones he missed and I think it's a must on a car like this. You don't have to go over board with B&O Sound system and ceramic brakes, but you still want the other good stuff. BTW I have the same colour and the same "black package" except I've got carbon fiber in the interior, so at least I like most of the colour spec :)

hejsnahoppsna you don't actually need anything 🤣 all it needs is basic crap to drive the car. I have an a4 avant and doesn't even have reverse camera but don't even need it when you know how to drive

You're right about that when it´s a 'daily'. If you just need transportation from A to B, then a Trabant will do. However, if you buy a SQ7, you certainly can afford some more extras, it's like building a nice house and you skip out on the 75" TV, or the Gaggenau kitchen appliances.

Yeah. even as a Q7 owner, he is missing some specs. Like, his doesn't have 360 camera and maybe it doesn't even have the HUD. Meanwhile my Q7 has the 360 camera and the full leather package, plus the dark wood (I am forgetting the exact name of it) package that looks much better than the aluminum.Also, it has the aluminum package, not the nice carbon fiber or extremely dark wood (that doesn't even look like wood) package. Archie also did not mention the two rear seats that rise with a button in the trunk, which is pretty awesome. To be fair, his SQ7 is faster and sounds better than the Q7 and it has the nice dark quattro logo on the side 🤣. Still, it is an absolutely awesome car. Congrats Archie's dad

hejsnahoppsna highly agree I own a 2017 SQ7 here in NZ. It’s standard with the night vision and Tech pack but not the sunroof etc.. Love it

Yeah, that's not the HUD. This was the Audi Virtual Cockpit. One of the knobs next to the steering wheel activates the HUD on the Q7/SQ7. There is the display monitor in the center of the dash (which rises from the dash), the Virtual Cockpit (with the rev counter and speed display/map or whatever else you want to switch it too), and the HUD

No hate Archie but the car is not fully equipped. It has no premium interior package 4 (almost 20k euro's for leather everywhere). No carbon ceramics and no carbon packages. This is a fairly standard SQ7. They are pretty good equipped from factory.

The SQ7 has pretty much all the options standard that you can put on a normal Q7. This didn’t have much extra. Maybe the panoramic sunroof. No google maps?

Andrew Makinson the google maps comes with every Audi with Audi connect. All the cars from the A3 onwards have it but only for like 3 mo the. The Q7 and more expensive cars likely have the 3 year subscription. The thing is the car won’t have it on from new, you will have to go to the settings and change the map view to google which isn’t something a lot of people do so people drive around not knowing they could have a more cool sat nav 😂

It is bigger in person, the cargo lid thing in the back made it look smaller. Also, it has seats that fold up and down with a button in the trunk, which he did not have up. In person, it is actually quite a lot of space

I live in NZ and my parents payed 109k pounds for an almost fully upgraded 2018 custom sq7 with the carbon interior and triple turbo v8 engine aswell as red brakes and that doesn’t include shipping from Germany.
