You are not gonna get any money back. Don’t even think that you see a dollar of it just so that your grandparents don’t send him another dime and if they wanna help you then they can send the money directly to your school or where we have to get supplies or when it comes time for you to get a car to pay for the car, but don’t send your dad a dime of money that he can manipulate and say that He’s out of money he can afford it blah blah blah. I’m sorry, but your dad is full of baloney and you have to accept that and just go on with your life because he’s not gonna change, he’s not gonna grow up, he is full of pipe dreams and you’re not in it. And if anything goes wrong, you’re gonna be the one to blame or you’re the one is gonna be the one left holding the bag, etc. because he’s got kind of that criminal thinking going on. I’m sorry that this is your father, but let her know now than later and don’t give him money when you get out of the college and you’re doing good don’t be giving him money then because if you give him a dollar he’s gonna come back for 100. Wake up and smell the coffee. Cry your tears dry your tears and move on. Also when you’re dating, you’re probably gonna get suckered into dating a guy just like your dad because that’s just kind of whole life goals, don’t tell them how much money you have how much money you were making or much about your degree. You just can’t trust these guys not to abuse your financial security. Stand on your own 2 feet and and keep confiding in your grandparents or their lawyer and when they pass, find some other people that you can trust no matter what. There’s always people there with their hand out to get something from you and you can’t allow that. Sorry you’re going through this because it’s really tough.
