I got a 98 Shiny Groudon and a Shiny pop star Pikachu. The mighty Pokemon spawns were horrible I barely got any and most of them were Tyrantrum and Toxapex. I really wanted the luxray but I got a bunch of shinx candy so I can't complain

Thanks for the content poke ak. Being free to play, the 1 safari ball i did manage to get 1 lost on game lag encounter issue so couldn't even obtain the other 1. So missed out on the mighty mon part. Managed to get a few shinys. Was fun. You needed to buy the ticket for a proper experience. Weather here was awful wind and rain all day. Always avoid playing from the car. Walking around is main reason me and the family started playing.

You're in UK I take it? If so we're having storm Bert. I was out in it from 10-3 being blown around like the idiot that i am. Storm is ongoing today as you'll know. Got back at 3 with my feet soaked and my boots are waterproof (lots of rain equals lots of deep puddles unfortunately. I've no doubt storm will be over on Mon when event is over.

Didn't do a single Gigantmax raid because, from the start of the event, only 2 players were doing this. Caught 4 hundo Mighty Pokemon 1 escaped and 31 total shiny. 16 Hours of daily incense and 1 Galarian Articuno which run away from Safarin ball.

I agree it was too much. Im a newer player so i had to prioritize wisely. Gigantimax was stressful and inconsistent. Managed to do 2. My partners app kept crashing when joining and theres no going back in like raids so that sucked.

People have to stop thinking you need all the passes in general. People need to start picking a single angle and devote the transit time to catching pokemon. If you got a couple more safari balls for the same price it would be less stressful. The real problem is the fact that max particle storage and free acquisition need to be doubled since raids are far more valuable to the community than almost all the max dens are at the moment especially if there's extremely few dynamax related events throughout the year. Imo 10 particles aren't even worth .5 cents

I had fun with my day 1 completed some shiny families I've been wanting to complete got a hundo mighty pokemon and a shiny mighty pokemon that completed 1 shiny family that I didn't know if I would ever complete got a shiny rock star Pikachu and got 1 Kyogre, 1 Amped form and 1 low key form Toxtricity each with the special background and finished day 1 up with a couple of Toxel hatches so I had fun and ended with more then I was trying for mostly did in person raids and 1 remote raid which was a primal Kyogre the rest were Snorlax and both forms of Toxtricity no shinys from these raids but being able to complete the shiny families that I did between the mighty pokemon and wild spawns was nice and I had alot of fun

I got 11 Shinies. I managed to get a Shiny Rock Star Pikachu, my ever Shiny Skrelp, Venipede, and Helioptile. But hardly gotten any Mighty Pokémon and the only Hundo one I got was the Venipede. I feel like the Shiny odds wasn't really that boosted. 7/10

First time I’ve paid for a ticket since they increased the remote raid pass price. Did 15 raids, 7 gmaxes, and 3 dmaxes. Of the 9 raids that were Origins, only 2 had special moves. Out of those 25 Pokémon, only 5 had backgrounds. Got 1 shiny. Honestly just underwhelming. Frustrating that there are so many things left to chance after paying for a ticket. On the other hand, Mighty Pokémon were a blast! Had people running around the park whenever a hundo was found. Safari Balls were a great idea, although the execution could use tweaking. Dumb that we can’t keep them til midnight-and that we can’t send Pokémon caught in them to HOME. I also heard that the drop rates for them for f2p players was abysmal. Niantic moment. I had fun, but I usually do when I play during an event. Probably won’t be buying another ticket though.

Yes, this, 1000x this 👏 👏 Gmax Tox is locked into it's electric Gmax move, so is useless as an attacker against any future Fairy gmax bosses (like tall cake Alcremie or Hairy Giant Grimmsnarl) - Dmax Tox will be able to hit them with Dmax Ooze for that super effective damage 👍

I skipped day 1 and have not bought any of the tickets. From what I’m hearing in my community, I’m kind of glad I skipped. I’m really not very interested in it at all. Might do a couple raids tomorrow, but that is it. The mighty Pokemon do not want to get caught with excellent, ultra, curveballs. So count me out.

I returned to the game this summer after years and I just don't have the resources to grind like I would like to or to concentrate on raiding, for example, since I lack in great iv pokemons so of course I want to do mighty pokemon as well. A week long event would have been better.

In the beginning of the event was so laggy for me that it messed me up in raid were I couldn't throw pokeballs. It was making me miss anytime I tried a curve throw and I had several raid bosses run on me because of it

I did this freemium as well, and it SUCKED. The catch rates on the big boys was almost nonexistent for regular ultra + golden razz. Trying to spin farm safari balls is inconsistent and sometimes takes ages to find one. And of course, no free raid passes. And screen lag. Stupid, cash grab event.

I bought all the tickets, they didn’t turn my toxel hatches on until yesterday, and the mighty spawns are a limited pool which wasn’t advertised. Also used 2 hours of roar of time with no galar birds on the incense. Everything small chance statistic they tweak in this game to do is like a casino.

I merely pointed out that we all knew it was a limited pool & exactly what they would be & what dag they would be spawning on - we got that info from Niantic & that's how the infographic makers & various other PoGo content creators were able to make their event guide materials ahead of time. Were you expecting some sort of Official Niantic TV-style infommercial video outlining all the details of the event? That's never been how this works, they can barely make the game run most days , they definitely can't handle producing accurate broadcast quality information videos on top of that 🤣

Underwhelming event - I’ve given up on Gigantamax not interested because of the amount of resources you need to spend on marginal Pokémon. And the results are miss or miss out . I went out on day 2 as I work on Saturday and with 30people we had no chance! The trial friends raid listing and ability to drop into raids without an invite was amazing. Wish I’d not bought a Safari ticket and just spent that on extra remote raid passes. Also the not enough Mighty Pokémon or variety of electric or poison Pokémon to justify the ticket. And the 5 star raids… no guaranteed adventure effects on Pokémon I raided to the max at GoFest. Getting out was boring - sitting at home raiding around the world wasn’t. Niantic are just mean, money hungry and dumb.

If you couldn't get a gmax toxtricity done with 30 trainers, then people just didn't come prepared - Excadrill was the top option against this gmax & we had dmax drilburs in the game a week earlier (Ground Breaking event + the Max Monday hour 6pm-7pm was exclusively dmax drilbur). Max battles requires a new mindset, you have to manage your MP resources & build up your Max battle mons before the day of the battles - you can't just rock up & expect to get carried like you can with raid bosses on the gyms. Heck, if you were a ticket holder there was a Dmax Excadrill encounter near the start of the 6 page special research quest - I literally snagged a 96% w/ 15 attack as I walked to the first gmax meeting on Saturday morning. Having said that, any gmax toxy boss that had power up punch on it was a nasty SOB to deal with - those ones definitely sucked & took ages to beat, or you just had to relobby & hope for a better moveset that didn't have power up punch on it

Its a decent event. Gmax is overall a bust again as even going to meet ups most people just use the free mp and quit. Mighty pokemon are very cool but for me if they aren't raid relevant I'm not keeping them. I enjoy the shiny boost from the ticket but definitely not worth $12. Id of spent alot more time if we could remote these gmax because we are held captive to the community and traveling to do just 1 is unacceptable

I played maybe 1.5 hours or two. Event is absolutely boring spawn wise for long term players. Other than that just seems to be a cash grab. I live in an area where players are very common and it’s easy to find a 15-20 person raid but even with this event people are opting to just stay home.

It's all RNG, someone could get the shiny first raid, others can take much much longer (someone else in here took 137 raids to get the shiny snorlax). I think Snorlax is generally a boosted shiny rate (something like 1 in 64), but they may have "tweaked" that for this special event costume one. 30+ with no shiny sounds entirely normal for these types of event/costume raid mons ... it's rough, but as they say "it is what it is"

• Friend raids are great. Except the game crashes frequently mid-raid, and you can’t rejoin afterwards. It still eats your remote raid pass. • Niantic support say they’ll give you a replacement remote raid, but nothing is added to your inventory. • If your monsters all faint or have low HP during a raid, and you revive or use potions on them, after the raid, they _all_ automatically are still fainted or retain low HP, despite reviving them or using potions on them. And the items are still taken from your inventory, meaning you have to revive or use potions twice. • Mighty Pokémon very seldom appear. • Safari Balls seem less effective than ultra balls.
