If I may make a suggestion? Please, please, please, please, PLEASE when you get around the repainting that tank you rescued from Games Workshop Dublin, KEEP the Irish tricolour warpaint. Find a way to incorporate it into your scheme. It honours the tank's history and its story and makes it really unique.

Amazing, literally the day I wanted to start this hobby and army it was always difficult to get the stuff I wanted and recently wanted to again and then saw plastic krieg announcement. Looks so very good laid out and ready to deploy! Highlights: 1. The Diorama (captures the Krieg completely!) 2. The drills (their dynamic modelling is awesome!) 3. Medium & heavy weapons teams (dioramas everywhere) 4. Demo tanks (tiny tanks > tanks) 5. Exclusive stuff (rare & awesome!) 6. The bases (skulls, grit, and grim!) Really though, everything's great because everything looks so good together.

Can't wait until the end of the vid. That tank with the yellow turret looks a lot like the old light version of the Leeman Russ. Back in 3rd you could not move and shoot with the standard Russ tank. So they put out a Conqueror, with a lightweight battle cannon which could move and shoot but lost a point of strength and AP. It was really good for gettin in and killing infantry, even SM and occasionally Rhinos and Chimeras.

Inspirational video as always Andy! As someone who has been painting wargames figures for more than half a century, I can confirm that no army is ever finished... That said, really enjoyed your review of DKK, and looking forward to what you do with the plastics to come. Honestly, I have been tossing up between an infantry heavy army or a tank heavy army. I suspect I'm going with the 'wargamers option' and will get both 🤓

Have you thought about mixing plastic and resin minis within squads? You'd have more variation in each squad, but it would average out so there'd be less variation between squads.

And finally, my lad got fully into guard both infantry and Armour. Your little Stug reminded me of the tanks he bought and converted into his own "Stug" squadrons. He has the version with the Vulcan cannon on it called the Thunderer and a version with the big las cannon poking out the front. The Thunderer came from the Siege of Vraks. The one with the big, big las cannon for which I can not recall the model name, was inspired by a Gaunt's Ghost novel in which Larkin found an affinity with the tank which he saw as a fellow sniper. Anyway, not only are there many a variant but they are usually in squadrons of 3. Why, because one on the battlefield is a shot magnet. Three scare the be'jaysus out of the enemy. He has the super heavies which game well in Apocalypse and a bunch of other variants, including a little souped up little jalopy which was meant to be a scout vehicle based on a Chimera chassis but with the speed of a Land Speeder. Ahhh, happy days.

Nice collection. I know a pretty good recaster site for your missing heavy weapon teams. I would add some dorn tanks (but not official ones, I'm looking at Mortain for my Dorns) and I would add some hatches to those tanks :p What do you think about the new krieg and especially the new base sizes for the "larger"(?) artillery?

Games workshop did everyone dirty making these sculpts so expensive! Even back in the day they were dear asf! Such amazing sculpts! Gorgeous army that dude and yeah 100% more Calvary is needed!! Also the station forge stuff is nicer than the Krieg veterans the stuff just anonced is lovely tho!

One could look after Zack games on the internet, or wartablegames, I actually think they're the same people just under different names...never had an issue, the resin need some works before building/painting but that's expected and you'll have to do it with FW kits anyways

@@malocuillandre1344 Zack is cheaper than wtg as far as I can see, but yes they always have the same stock lol. My OOP FW stuff from Zack requires sanding but when prepped and painted it's indistinguishable from legit FW

@Mr_Waffle. Zack is usually cheaper, there are some cases where wtg is cheaper tho, it's always a good thing to do a quick comparison. Also, Zack has more "niche" stuff I think, while wtg is more into regular units/figs but has a wider range in that category than Zack

(nice elite unit stand-in as apropreate Keserkin) 2. Tanks from the Horus Heresy, for a non standard look: solar auxila 3. Promote your catachan/cadian weapont teams AFTER you hand the heavy weapons to your KRIEGERS to penal squads. extra tip: For turning the plastic ocrable with magnets into its 9th form: "Mars Pattern Warhound Titan Plasma Blastgun" turned upside down.

Thansk for the video. I think i have a solution for your problem with stripping of Forge World models. Its called Sterilium and it is used in the medical industry to disenfect. You put it in for about 5 minuten and then brush it the paint of. You do this in 2-3 repeats. Its VERY..VERY important to have an eye on it because sometimes the parts can become *wobly* when it is to long in it.

A cleaning product called LA's Totally Awesome should not damage Forgeworld Resin, and will remove basically any paint you want it to. You can just soak it for a few days, or you can put it in an ultrasonic cleaner for about half an hour.

Na I’m on the opposite side of that form your although yeh aesthetic of the forgeworld stuff is amazing. The sculpts are not great and are very very tired now. For the price you pay you deserve better quality. And thats what plastic will give you. Plus I already have the complete range except Gorgan crew.
