@@dayton900 I did not relax. Four years natural and counting. Almost 5 years without straightening. A simple regimen, low manipulation hairstyles and trimming when needed, I'm at mid-back now. Maybe another year or so and I'll be at waist length. Learning what products my hair best responds to and patience have definitely helped on my journey.

Just LIKE MINE!! Soaking wet, but still appears to be "dry" but with little water drops everywhere. I wish more 4c, low-porosity you tubers would create more content like this so I can relate and actually see MY type of hair on the screen. My hair strands are rounder so they don't reflect light as easily as flat-strands hair. My hair could be perfectly healthy and moisturized, yet still not "shiny" like a lot of you tubers' hair. My cuticles are like Fort Knox when it comes to opening up for water (hence the tiny little droplets everywhere) so I have to add a little heat in my routine as well, and I perform magic shows for children everywhere with my shrinkage, lol. Glad I found your channel. Love your hair❤️❤️

Beautiful, try to avoid the cold water rinse it does nothing for our 4c hair. It's best to rinse in warm, that way the cuticles will still be opened to absorb the following products like a leave in conditioner.

I have high porosity hair. 5 minutes after I wash it my roots are dry and I have to re-wet my hair smh. I'm trying to hang in there but damn I miss that creamy crack lol.

@@westafricanbaby My hair is curly, Coiley, kinda kinky, and wavy. Omg! My hair keeps shrinking up no matter what! It is kind of hard to rectangle, Whew! 😠 I need to order some of that conditioner. I really hope it helps my hair. My biggest problem is the ends of my hair. It's real curly and kind of thick, and hard to braid. I don't have a problem with the roots, Thank God. And I've been natural for almost two years. I'm trying to get it to grow.

Try using a clay wash if ur shampoo leaves ur hair dry, it's very good for the scalp but unlike Nizorel it won't dry ur hair. 😊
