Hair so nice I had to come back TWICE!! *crying emoji* I have 4C Hair as well but as SOON as I finish washing my hair, its back to being dry and just not the same as I would envision it to look after I get out lol. Non the less I've tried doing deep conditioning, oils, hella shampoo and conditioner combos for softer more moisturized hair and NOT A DAMN THING is working -__-. So I happily brought myself to your page to see the error in my ways. I know that even tho we have 4C Hair our hair is still different but Imma give this baby a go once I take my braids out ;D.

@teshamiller60015 жыл бұрын
Examine what you are putting IN your body. You may need to increase your water intake. Also, most store bought products arent that great for 4c hair because of their chemical content. 4c girls can't just be putting stuff in our hair because we see somebody use it on a video. We have to read labels and look up ingredients and see exactly what they are doing to our hair. Also, heat is a no no for dry 4c hair. Use the MSPS method (moisturize (aloe vera juice+rosewater), seal (only use 100% organic carrier and essential oils) protective styles like mini twists/braids) deep condition twice a month with a NATURAL conditioner, (which organix is not). Yadain Cultural Solutions and a few other black owned companies carry chemical free deep conditioners. And always wear your satin scarf to bed and sleep on a satin or silk pillow case. ALWAYS. Lol.

Exactly! All of these comments about her washing her hair in the sink are so bizarre. Seriously, it's shampoo, conditioner, and few strands of shed hair. All of which can be easily cleaned up. These folks act like she's straight up bathing her whole body in the kitchen sink.

My hair is basically the same as yours but longer, i'm 14 years old so my mom still has control over me lol and i don't have a lot of freedom with my hair. i wish i could put this much care into my hair but my mom thinks it's a waste of time so every wash day is just: unbraid, condition, shampoo, condition and detangle, then braid. :(( i want to try deepconditioning or using more natural/homemade products in my hair instead of just pantene shampoo and conditioner.

Your hair is amazing and u take great care of it. My lazy ass wouldn't do all of this, maybe once a month. My hair is really weird, it's thick, it barely shrinks (I mean not as much as 4c hair type). I don't see curls cause when I comb my hair it looks like a blowout, only when my hair is wet I see define curls mind you only on the lower back of my head and the ends throughout my hair. My hair still doesn't curl that much from the roots for 3/4 when it's wet. I wash my hair 2x -, deep condition 1x a week cause I also do an oil treatment 2x a week and because my head will start to feel heavy with the products and oils in my hair. Where I live has a warm climate so for me it's necessary. After I've washed my hair I twist/braid my hair with a curl cream and a leave in conditioner I've done that for years, still no curls. Throughout the week I put curl cream/ moisturizer every other day, because my hair dries out so fast. Sometimes once a month I do a rice water or shea butter treatment. I'm 20+ years old and I've flat ironed my hair 3- or 4x since I was born so I don't think heat damage is the problem. Never relaxed, wore wigs, weave or extensions. I know my hair is not that special but for me it's strange to see other black women on youtube (including you) whom are darker than me have such define curls and amazing hair. Can someone give me an indication on what is wrong with my hair, what my hair type is and what porosity level I might have?
