This is a delicious homemade cream cheese pound cake, just make sure you spray your pan well. So, if you or your family and friends enjoy lemon cream c, here’s the recipe.
Recipe
Cream 2 sticks of room temperature butter (salted), 1/2 block of cream cheese (room temperature) and 2&1/2 cups of granulated sugar together for 5 to 6 minutes.
Next, add 6 eggs to the mix one at a time.
Next add 2 tsps of lemon extract, 1 tsp of butter extract, 1 tsp of vanilla extract and 2 tsps of fresh lemon juice.
Mix well.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Sift 3 cups of all purpose flour and 1 tsp of baking soda together, then add 1/2 to the mixer with 1/3 cup of milk.
Last add remaining flour and mix until incorporated, don’t over mix.
Spray pan well and add to baking pan.
Bake for 1 hour, add 10 minutes if needed.
Cream cheese icing
Add 1/2 block of cream cheese to the bowl with 2 cups of powdered sugar, 1 tsp of fresh lemon juice and about 4 to 6 tsps of milk . Mix well, then add to the cooled cake.
