My Dental Tourism Experience In Guatemala

I'm SO SORRY its been over a month since I posted, but I really needed some time to get myself situated back in the states and I just didn't have the time or energy to film. BUT today I wanted to share about my dental tourism experience in Guatemala! Have you ever gotten any type of dental treatment out of the US? How was your experience? I've heard many times that in dental clinics like in Guatemala, Czech Republic or Hungary the customer is still king as they should be and they receive excellent first class service unlike in the US or Western Europe. And there's nothing better than a new, bright smile. 😁 Lol

Yes, I too am a DENTIST. Imagine if they can do this to a dentist...YOU!

I'm so sorry to hear that you had that experience. I hope others will read your comment and avoid that practice. I share your anger with bad dentists. My mom recently had all of her teeth pulled after a dentist 'fixing' her 14,000$ worth of root canals. They completely damaged her nerves and took all of her money. And now she's too afraid to even go back and get dentures.

We have the best healthcare technology, but not system. Insurance is vital in the US. It’s helped me with checkups…etc. Keep being cute!

Hi! I’m planning a dental trip in Antigua as well and wondering how did you turn your money to their currency? And what was the name of the dentist office

Hello! That's so exciting! So for this procedure I just used my travel credit card (to avoid international transaction fees). But you could also use your debit card to take money out of one of their ATMs (always try to use one's in or attached to banks) and the machine does the exchange for you. Thankfully a lot of places in Antigua take card. The place I went to is called Bestintown/Smile Antigua Guatemala on Google maps. It should have a 5 star rating, and I do highly recommend them :)

@@ASightToSee oh wow I’ve never heard of travel credit card will look into that and may I ask were you alone during this trip? I’m prolly going to have to go solo and ima little nervous about it. thank you so much
