I mean, you can, but it puts aside all the rest of its traits, gunslinger, swordmaster. Leaves a sour taste in the mouth "damn too bad she didnt get to taste the POWER of Cerberus" Like watching Lord of the Rings and not paying atention to the character development of the cast., Dont misunderstand me, its ok as long as the person enjoys and expands the love for the franchise, but damn its irritating, pressing the swap button is not that hard

Don't know how much you know of Vergil, but his motivation is kind of sad. They're mother was killed by demons, and Dante escaped, while Vergil was tortured. Now he is obsessed with getting power, no matter what, because he was too weak to save his mother. Its just a cycle of getting strong, telling himself it is not enough, and looking for more. Out of the two, he suffered the most.

Getting thru the entirety of DMC3 on your first playthrough without upgrading your health or Devil Trigger is one of the most impressive gaming accomplishments I've seen. Kudos. 44:15 That reaction right there after attempt #75 on the final boss is just great. I just love seeing that visceral relief and satisfaction after finally making it thru and getting to enjoy the ending. It's what makes the punishing difficulty of this game so worth it.

As I commented on another video . In the final fight. Vergil told Dante to leave because the gate was closing. He didn’t ask for the amulet anymore. He also didn’t swing when he charged at Dante. He knew Dante was tunnel visioned on stopping him, and he let Dante defeat him as a means to an end , because he realized he was wrong and wanted to save him I think .
