I feel like Ever After High for sure isn’t coming back. Mattel putting their full force into lines like EAH and Monster High during the early 2010s made them really lazy with the Disney Princess line, and since Disney wants to monopolize fairy tales, they created Descendants to compete with (and eventually obliterate) EAH. Mattel isn’t gonna risk upsetting Disney again now that they recently regained toy licensing for the Disney Princesses.

No one company, even that mouse one, should have all the rights to every fairy tale or fairy tale character. I can see Mattel never coming back with EAH, but even if they didn't get the licensing rights back, that shouldn't be the case. Just so they don't "make the mouse mad"? Now i wish mga would make their versions of fairy tale princesses, just to prove this point..

I have Cerise Hood (EH) and I LOVE her. She’s my fave of the EH dolls I have. Her cape is gorgeous and, idk if you know, but her ears? Are pointed to represent the wolf side! She has little wolf ears and I love it!

Definitely agree with your thoughts on Moxie Girls! I was given one and thought the outfits were bad, even at the time 😂. My sister and I both had a Flavas doll, but we got rid of them when our mom made us give away a few dolls about 15 years ago. I wasn’t very attached to Flavas at the time, but looking back on it, they’re pretty cool. I might go ebay hunting for one soon 😁 I remember Diva Starz, didn’t have one but I definitely remember looking at them in stores.

I loved the Flava and My Scene dolls so much! I have tons and tons of those dolls and their accessories. I also really loved a line called "Moxie Teenz". They were around 14 inches I think and had nice fashions and changeable wigs. I wish those would have caught on.

If Mattel just got the Disney princess contract back I doubt they would revive Ever After High, though personally I would rather see EAH come back than Monster High. I also liked Project MC2. They had great outfits but cheap flimsy bodies.

It sucks because eah is my dream doll line with a great concept it's basically going unused because disney doesn't want any competition in the fairytale market it's ridiclous It should be may the best doll win, but what can you do mattel wants the right to make disney dolls so they have to sacrifice eah I guess not mad at mattel though I understand it's what's in the best interest of the company there hands are tied.

I collected the Moxie Girls and Moxie Teens, and prefer the ones with feet! I Love My Scene Barbies and add them to my collection whenever I can. You are right, The Everafter High dolls are really pretty and I wish I had collected them now! I also like the MC2 dolls articulation!

Those Briar and Apple dolls are actually from the Legacy Day line! Legacy Day and Thronecoming are easy to mix up, but Thronecoming had the masks!

I have an idea for why the dolls failed when picking you probably would pick the other option. I also remember the diva stars being bigger, I had one that had sunglasses on her and she used to speak when you pressed the top of her head and she would say different phrases when she had her glasses on and off

Mattel will not reboot EAH, not for now, it's said that now that they got the Disney License back to produce the princess dolls, Disney told them that one of the things that made them change from Mattel to Hasbro was that Ever After High was too close from their Disney Princess line theme, so, Disney hate EAH and probably has said something like: if you want us back, don't you ever try to produce EAH again. Yes, it sucks.

I had Petra dolls and Doll house furniture. The Sofas from Petra was better than the Barbie Stuff of the 80's/90's. But Plasty stoped produceing dolls and doll furniture in the mid 90's. At last those sofas and clothes went to a little girl my sister had to babysit. They were made from Harder gummy so they survived me and my sister.

I absolutely the original LOVE EAH dolls and the original MH dolls. I have some of my favorites from both lines that I got second hand in good condition. I NEED EAH to come back full force and be continued in their original beautiful designs. Fingers crossed that Mattel will at some point see the light.

out of all of these the only ones i collected and still have our several ever after high ,I open most of my dolls but not the special edition ones,IThese are not special edition but I loved the packaging on these as they looked like a book so i have kept all these sealed .Also a couple of moxie dolls but never ended up collecting anymore.most of the dolls you showed I have never even heard of really intresting to see thumbs up

I also have quite a few of the My Scene dolls (and Bratz dolls) that were second-hand that I was given by a girl that I used to babysit. I really like all of the boys in both of those lines. Now that I have retired, I really enjoy finding all of these dolls and fixing them up. I am looking forward to seeing what you show us in your next video.

I miss EAH dolls too. You can buy them secondhand, but they are very expensive. Hope to find Hunter afordable. I have a couple Snapstars, love there articulation. I give them a little repaint. Boxy girls! They are so much fun to repaint. I have a box full of them🤣. And I wish I bought more Novistar dolls when they were out. Love them. Love part 1, can't wait to see the second part.

I know I’m watching this video in 2024 and yes Monster high has come back but I have heard from on KZbin Ever Afraid High is coming back on the 2025 around the binging of 2025. I really, really hope Mattel won’t release them terribly as Monsters High did. I really hope Mattel still gives the characters the same back in 2012. I really hope as the dolls and chapters make sense as Monster High didn’t make sense. Please Mattel please don’t let your fans disappoint, I love Ever After High so much with all the stories episodes and I love the characters, but when Mattel changed Monster High, It really disappointed me as I couldn’t understand where the monster were and how the stories went, I didn’t even watch the live movie as I saw the ads as it made me cry from not showing the character I loved cartoon versions. From the 3d cartoon Mattel has changed Lagoona from BLUE to PINK 😱😱😱😱😱😱 and MISSING SO MANY CHARACTERS vanished? I cannot imagine what Mattel would do the same to EVER AFTER HIGH I really hope I really hope IT WOULD tell the story as it should with the characters back then from 2012-2014? I haven't actually forgotten any of these, but some like the Top Model, Boxie (?) Snapstar and MC squared ones I had just never heard of. Out of discontinued doll-lines that I personally liked and weren't mentioned here I really loved Mattel's Winx Club dolls (although Winx dolls are still being made, just not by Mattel so does that count?) Disney Fairies dolls and although I never owned any - W.i.t.c.h dolls. Also Novi Stars I remember looked really cool.

My friend owned the original design blonde diva Starz doll. What is so funny to me is even as the target demo my friends all found the doll horrifying. We were so confused. As an adult I just think the conversation went loke this. Bratz are popular we should do that. What are Bratz? You know the dolls with the exaggerated proportions. Big eyes and feet. And then no one actually looked at a Bratz doll. Which in hind sight compared to dolls now I wouldn't describe Bratz as having exaggerated proportions so it's funny to think they were known by that

Lol I love Diva Starz. I collect them. I know I am one of the rare collectors who appreciate them. I find them cool and kitsch. They remind me of Blythe somehow. EAH are gorgeous dolls. The details are amazing. I miss them. Moxie girls were quite cute too. I like Flavas. I wish I could find more in boot sales. My Scene are great dolls. I have one Boxy girl I dressed in Snap Stars fashion pack. I like her. She is a proper toy and I would have liked her as a child. MC2 girls are very nice dolls. All these dolls had their own charm.

I have all of the basic/classic Ever After High dolls (though some are missing accessories, some have staining I have no clue where it came from, and Apple's hair needs are re-curl.) I don't have Mira Shards though, I don't know why but kid me was weirded out by her being Raven's mom in disguise, I might get her now. I had about 3 Moxxie Girls, 2 of which are accounted for, I think they were a replacement for Bratz since my mom didn't like them. I actually think some of the outfits are really cute, they're kids and the clothes reflect that. the hair though....😬 My Scene was before my time but I wouldn't mind getting one. Madison is my favorite, she's beautiful. Wish I'd had Project MC to teach me about science as a kid, it's something I wish I knew but I'm afraid I'm a lost cause now. 😅

Regarding Ever After High, it was one of my favorites but how cool would it have been had they created characters from Oz? Could have got the daughter/son of the tin man, and daughter/son of a flying monkey. They could have branched out to hardly known characters from the books & could have had the daughters/sons of Princess Langwidere of Ev. Or the patchwork girl of Oz, Betsy Bobbin who was like Dorothy but Betsy was from Oklahoma.,....not Kansas. Someday maybe.

I actually really loved some of the Moxie Girls, but yeah since Mattel sabotaged their ability to get decent nylon their hair was so bad. The Moxie Teens were so pretty though, and I believe they led to the MC2 dolls. EAH was a lot of fun, but I don't think Mattel wants to ruin their relationship with Disney again. and the Boxy Girls, I only got a couple of those for customizing. Their big wide faces make for easy painting. I have one Snap Star and I don't think I've ever taken her out of the box. Some of my favorite dolls to find out in the wild are La Dee Da dolls, even though they're so skinny they break super easily.
