I wish the EG dolls looked more like the characters in the show. I'm obsessed with dolls and MLP, and I would totally have bought all of them if they were better. Also, did they ever make a doll of Rainbow Dash in Spring Breakdown? That design was made to be a cute doll.

I never really got into the Bratz Witches dolls, but I am tempted by Meygana's dolls for some reason. As for Equestria girls, I did not like the size or the faces on the earlier ones and found the slightly bigger ones that were released during the end of the line to be more aesthetically pleasing. And the earlier DC Superhero Girls fashion dolls are underrated in my opinion. I was really sad to see the line lose the fabric clothes and articulation. And the reboot DC Superhero Girls dolls were not nearly as good as the originals and would have weird molded on clothes as well as less articulation. I feel like they would have been more successful if they were all more doll-like and had fabric clothing and articulation instead of the decision to make them a doll/action figure hybrid with the molded on clothes. I blame Mattel for the fall of that line.

I had that Meygana, and she did have the worst hair. The Equestria Girl dolls took a bit of getting used too, but I was very fond of them & I still have some. I also have most of my Novi Stars, they were so cool! Loved them. The Superhero Girls were cute but I only bought a couple of them. Bumblebee was my favorite.

The Dc Superhero line had all the girls based on athletes giving them the “bulky” bodies. I have Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Bumble Bee, Batgirl, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn. I have two of each one out of box and one in box. I also have an out of box starfire and black fire. And an in box killer frost.

The thing with the DC Superhero Girls line was precisely what you said. On the one hand comics are traditionally for boys and so then it was weird to have dolls for those characters and also action figures that girls don´t tend to like. Do not know if the dolls continue to sell but the cartoon is still going.

Yeah but most girls end up watching some sort of comic or know of Wonder Woman and Supergirl (Me being fond of Batgirl). A lot of girls like superheroes. They weren’t actually made as action figures either. The reason they were built the way they were was because they were modeled and based off of athletic women and could stand on their own.

The equestria girls had a sort of reboot where the quality and the fashion of the falls was better the one u had like the villian one was from the reboot and the Also had a gimic that they had a code on their necklace which could be scanned and that character would come into the game

I still have my DC Superhero Girls (all of the "basic" ones except for Hawkgirl and Cheetah since I sadly didn't know about them) they're still in good condition aside from some missing accessories like Wonder Woman's lasso. I have all 5 of my Novi Stars (Ari, Una, Allie, Mae and Nita, didn't know there were others) and they're in...less good shape but I love them dearly and am glad I still have them. I have the main seven Equestria Girls dolls but different from the ones you have, not sure which they are but I think they're more recent. Luckkkyyyy, I *wish* I had Bratzillaz 😭 I remember seeing commercials for them as a kid but never asked for them because my mom didn't like witches or Bratz and I knew I was pushing my luck with Monster High (I've since had to get rid of all 9 of my MH dolls. Christian household. I miss them 😔) and I really regret it now, they're so expensive and I'm more enamored with them as an adult than I ever was before. lovely collection, thank you for sharing! 💖

Ah the Novi Stars. I loved them! Have a bunch of them, and never see them out in the wild anymore. The Equestria Girls got a bit better in quality as the line went on and I give Hasbro a bit of credit for not just making them look like Barbie or Bratz. At least not the first line. Bratzillaz were fun too, but they should've been called WITCHEZ. A total "what were they thinking?" moment! They weren't getting married, and anyone who'd be offended by the term "witchez" isn't going to be buying Bratz in the first place! Just bad marketing and planning all around. It'd be fun if they revisited some of the Bratzillaz gimmicks in the OMG line. Could be fun.

the SHG dolls were a good line, tbh. it mixed the action figure/fashion doll that would appealed to girls more into superheroes. Also, yes; i have the Megan bratzzilla and omg!! that hair!!! horrible!! very disappointing. i love the EG; not an stounding line bud decent. i lost my Twilight Sparkle rocker, devastaded!!! i had her body mixed with the hairplay head and she was beautiful!! i still don't know what happended to her!!

as a fan of the Equestria girls movies and shorts/tvspecials/whatever the dolls have always been crap. the designs only look good in movement, anyway the reason why they all had boots at first was because they were sort of ment to invoke hooves like the ponys had. Also while I know fuck all about fashion I can say this much: Some of the designs were awful, throwing every single colour ever on and just, not looking good, so I can't say the dolls fail in this way. I can say this is why I only ever bothered to get the mini's, those were more figure like and freakin' adorable.
