Sorry about your divorce, but glad you actually got to see the photos. It must feel strange not to be with your kids. Would love to see some beautiful California sceneries. And can't wait for the DnD and superhero tabletop sets!

Thanks for the update Ryan! Sorry to hear about the developments with regards to your stranded relationship... it really sucks, but I'm happy you stay so cheered up and positive despite all what happened.. I really hope some day you can meet your daughters again and be so positive as well! Sucks I flew back to my country the Netherlands for the summer holiday as well... will be back in Taiwan in early September but I guess by that time you start your school again 😢 anyways I feel we will have an opportunity some time to meet! For video suggestions the ones I like to listen to are your life philosophy/mental state ones... maybe not the easiest to make but I do enjoy those 😅 So maybe you could share some life lessons learnt since going to Taiwan? Anyways thanks again and have a good time in the US ✌😎

Thank you Tice, I really appreciate your comments. Life is hardly ever easy but it sure is interesting and I'm currently quite happy with the way things are going all things considered. I hope you enjoy your holidays back home and would be delighted to meet up in Taiwan any time. Also, those philosophy/mental state videos are some of my favorites to make because they churn the deepest parts of me. I'll be sure to make more of them soon. Thanks again.

I’m glad your enjoying Southern California for a bit. It’s probably good to see family and friends :) You make a good point about the billboards lol It’s Monica’s birthday today and she spent it at Seaworld. I’m sorry about the divorce, but that’s great that your closer to seeing your daughters 💕 A Taiwanese snack video sounds fun 😀

Yes, these billboards here are too much! Lol. Glad to hear that Monica had a nice birthday, it's been so long since I've heard about her. Hope she's doing great. Yeah, life continues to change but right now I'm pretty happy. Thanks as always Diana :)

How long are the summer holidays?
@ryfree
@ryfree Жыл бұрын
The new contracts are 11 months so you'll have 1 entire month absolutely free in the summer (but you won't be paid for it). You'll also get 10+ vacation days to use at your discretion. Hope that helps!

Just imagine- my comment was deleted within minutes because I mentioned something you never want to do to your children but the government thinks you should. That’s why we all live in a very sick world.

Sorry to hear about some of those developments, but regardless at least there appears to be a positive spin to it. I don't want to generalize a whole country, but I have heard similar stories more than once (Japanese wives splitting up while overseas and bringing their children along with them). I have lived here for quite a few years, and have heard the scenario quite a few times (again, not to generalize a whole nation, but unfortunately there do not seem to be any repercussions to doing it on the Japanese side of things). Regardless, it sounds like you have a good situation going in Taiwan, and have made some progress regarding being on speaking terms with the ex.

I think you summarized what I've found out the hard way. Yes, Japan doesn't really care about foreign custody orders from my research and there are many other parents out there that have lost their children because of it. I feel at least blessed that I'm on a good working relationship with my Ex so there's the hope a reunion in the future. And till that day comes, I'mma keep rollin! Thank you my friend.

That's a lot to unpack! I wonder if her family pressured her to leave you. Doesn't sound like you lived up to the Japanese work ethos at the time. As far as types of videos to make, in your situation, I say take a lesson from Casey Neistat ( www.youtube.com/@casey )

She married a lazy Californian so what could she expect lol. All things considered, I'm actually a pretty hard worker running after goals but our trajectory on where we want to go ended up being different. Thanks for the suggestion!
