As someone who was in a very abusive marriage than lasted literally 2 weeks because the second we married a switch flipped in him. I wasn’t married but I also had a shared space with my ex at one point and I was the bread winner and he was the one who cheated and I furnished the home and he through me out and so I had to pack up an entire apartment and move while also setting up an appointment for the furniture to be returned to the company we went through that he wanted that I had no space for. I moved out all on my own in the matter of under 48 hours and then it was thrown in my face because it “took too long, there was no reason you needed a whole two days to move” when our landlords were helping me get out safely and gave me a weeks time to be FULLY out.

Some of the most sage advice I was ever given is “live in truth, because whether it’s in the moment, or years later, the truth always comes to light.” For folks saying this is “dragging it out” or “seeking attention”, this video and ones to come wouldn’t be necessary if the truth wasn’t being hidden or altered from the other side of things. She has every right to tell her truth as their relationship was public and the separation wasn’t private. Had things been cleared up from the other side or false narratives spoken against, then there would be no reason to clear things up now. Everyone has the right to their truth. We have free speech. Don’t be “morality” police when you have no idea what really happened. Sarah, the floor is yours, we are here to listen. Ignore people who try and invalidate you or your experience. I relate to you so much with the avoidant personality stuff. My wife and I have been struggling for years because she refuses to take responsibility for her actions, meanwhile I'm the one to blame... for everything. This has really put a strain on our marriage. We have been working on this for the past 5 years. (We've been together for almost 20 years) To make shit worse, we have an 11 year old girl. I too am no saint. But I have gone through therapy and actually applied things that I've learned, and I have been changing my bad behaviors. My wife on the other hand, has not. All she does it talk shit about me to her therapist, and is in complete denial about her roll in the destruction of our marriage. So. Yea. Unless she can change, I'm really not sure how long I can deal with her.

I was in a narcissistic marriage. That then a child was brought into. I then found out all of the truth threw snooping threw social media and was cheated on the whole marriage. I served him papers and filed for full custody. Divorce went on for two years and the child we had together doesn’t know who he is as after I filled and cut everything off he wanted nothing to do with our child but won’t give up his rights. I am now in a new marriage with an old childhood friend and my child thinks that he is their father and I am perfectly fine with that. He doesn’t pay child support or anything and I had to pay for the lawyer all by myself.

Then to go off and tell me the day I served him papers that his new gf was pregnant and I wasn’t going to get anything anyways. But still won’t give up his rights so that way my child can share the same name with the person they think is their father and mother and sibling. I was extremely thin from all of the stress and depression of the whole situation. I feel you. I love you and I have been following you for a while. You are loved.
