I am building this next week on an almost identical Suzuki 50 quad. It is for my six and seven year-old. I am a little concerned with the acceleration of the larger gear. I ordered it, but it is pretty huge. I’m also a little worried about ground clearance. Do you think the stock sprocket would be adequate for a 50 pound rider? I figure I can try both, but if I only have to do it once, that would be preferable.

Sweet! Definitely will want it on low or medium speed to start. Just be mindful when bringing that top speed down, it will make enough tq to break traction or wheelie. The scooter store I linked will have everything u need and definitely suggest picking up variations so you can tune. Excellent video btw, I recently acquired a similar quad for my son with the 4 stroke chinese 110cc engine and 3 speed semiautomatic transmission, I rode it myself and had the time of my life. They have antisprk what are the xt60 or 90 they have both you should switch to qs8 or some single bullet connectors rated for better amperage

Built that same kit into a razor bike. Those controllers are so garbage. Do yourself a favor and buy the electro and co Kelley KVD. I don’t regret that buy at all but I did melt the motor by overheating it with too many amps. So get a heat sink too lol

Appreciate you! That bike must have been pretty quick. So far so good with controller. The MY1020 is pretty solid but fear it will fail quick since vented. How does Kelley stack up against Fardriver in ur opinion? They look similar on product photos and paper. Tunable sinewave controllers are def where it's at. Thanks for watching!

@@manicmods don’t actually own anything from far driver. Bought the Kelly because I knew of electro and co products because I like surronster. Electro and co is definitely overpriced but I have no complaints on the quality of things I’ve bought
