Nice trick but beware wires can jump about 6 feet straight up into the air. Unless he’s a smaller boned boy but he isn’t I think. Which means he can jump or climb over a six feet fence. Which means he can be a better escape artist. My last one who passed in July was a rescue she had fho hip surgery as a puppy so she could only jump about 4 feet and on all fours like tigger in wing the Pooh stories. But my others could effortlessly jump really high. So be careful what you train and reward him for unless you’re going for agility training and then they are professional grade escape artists. My one before my last girl didn’t realize he.Could jump over baby gate I used to keep him out of one room but he could. I’ve seen some actually climb up trees to get a squirrel
