Something similar to the deer leg story actually happened to my mom. Before either my brother and I were born, my parents had a dog named Bandit. One day, he’d run off to explore the nearby woods, and when my mom called him back, he had what appeared to be a large stick in his mouth that was too long to even fit through the door. My mom was telling Bandit to drop it, and it was then that she got a close enough look at the stick to notice that it not only had fur, but a hoof on one end and a bloody stump on the other. It was indeed a deer leg, and a disturbingly _fresh_ one at that. 😳

My dog, Jack, does literally the same thing to me for affection! He doesn’t whine but he will set his face on the edge of the couch or on my leg and will just stare at me with this wide eyed pout stamping his paw until I pet him! He is an absolute attention whore! 😆

Fun fact, our family dog Jack figured out how to throw the ball to himself whenever he wanted to play fetch, but we weren't going to play.

@@autumbreeze1129 My childhood dog Chopper used to do the same thing, except if he couldn’t find a ball, he’d use rocks.

When I was 14, I had two dogs (a brother and sister pair of Western Terriers). One day, our dogs ran off for some reason. My brother and I found them walking up the alleyway. This started to become frequent with the brother. Ever since he went to the vet, he had been quite off. On his last visit to the vet, he started becoming less affectionate and not his usual happy self. To this day, I still do not know what that vet did to our dog. Our dog eventually ran away, and we could never find him again. His sister became sad after that, and we later sold her before moving into our new house.

Honestly, living with 9 Dogs sounds like a Dream, especialy for a Child. But the Reality is it's still alot of work, effort and Money. My Aunt had this one Jack Russel Mix, that would growl at anyone who was'nt my Aunt. He came from a Farm far in the woods, no abuse, just Bears and Foxes i guess.

Man, that was so underhanded of your parents. Hopefully, Angus and Orion went to good homes... who had better security to keep each dog from escaping 😂
