MY DPS MAIN FOR 10.2!!

I recently came back after 14 years....played a pally, hunter, rogue, DH and mage. Relived some past experiences and enjoyed some new ones. Was fun but then I tried a shaman....the most fun I have had on a class. Still figuring out the best layout and rotation for me. Stuck between a few builds but I can get overwhelmed in tense fights.

I'm going unholy dk main and Assa rogue alt. The 2 classes and spec's that I have barely played in ages. Last time I was serious about DK was when blood DK was a DPS spec and you stacked armour pen . Looking forward to trying something new

I try to decide based on fun+damage but even if a spec is fun the competitive side of me struggles lol. Enhance seems like a great combo of both but ive played it the last 2 patches so i was considering ele this time! We might already have an ele shaman though so we'll see haha

As a long term multiclass player every freakin season. Choose what you find is most fun..Always As you progress, you will learn how to do dmg no matter what class you play. Meta classes often comes from a certain specc is easy to do something in most scenarios, but at the same time it ends up beeing meta due to a specific setup. Example.. When lock was doing insane overalls in S1. I wanted to see how many speccs could do the same, aslong as the setup was done correct for each induvidual specc And guess what.. every specc i had ( geared that is ) could manage the same range + - 20% And when you do 1 mill dmg on big packs, you dont really care or notice any difference when doing 800k either. Its still hella fun doing big numbers, all classes are able to do big numbers, they just need a setup, just like meta's do :D

For m+ either holy paladin is going to fall out of favor because of the ret tier set or ret just won't be used in m+ that often because the tool kit overlap. I haven't DPS'd in so long. I might need to level a character

Nope, I think it's still going to be fine. ST damage is def going to be tougher to crank out, but with a few talent adjustments on Tyrannical weeks and the right gear, it's going to be fine.

Out of your list I can say SP, enhancement, elemental, arms, and both dk specs looked really fun, I would say survival but I don't like the idea of forgetting about focus when you get a red bomb to be fury of the eagle, that just triggers me a bit, but I loved the video, can't wait to see more

I was in love with this spec, just started to learn and play by this class, and when people start to say about 10.2 and death of sp - I was so upset(( So I decided to get lvl up with my surv\bm hunter, but it's easier and more boring than sp, and I can't chose one( Also in love with dk for his deathstrike, but in raid people doesn't wanna see me as a dk((

I assume your raid team has all the raid buffs covered? (Last tier our only DH swapped to Ele, was a disaster.) It is the only spec in the game that brings nothing to raid.

You are playing Ele very poorly. My ele on the PTR is throwing out more than double the number of lava bursts you are in this clip. Focusing on Fire Elemental is a bad idea. Stack mastery, get Splintered, Mountains, and Windspeaker. During Ele Blast I have 75% haste and 100% mastery. I literally chain gun lava bursts out.

As I've said a hundred times and said multiple times in this video, this is not a video about how great I can destroy 4 training dummies on the PTR. I'm in unoptimized PvP gear testing trinkets out and I'm explaining why I am going to enjoy the spec rather than focusing on dealing damage during the clip. I'm glad you're throwing more meatballs than me while also entirely missing what I'm talking about in the video. Big golf clap for you sir... Drop the ego, you sound incredibly dumb. This video isn't about getting all of my talents and gear and stats lined up perfectly for optimal damage, it's about whether I'm liking how a spec looks and feels to play in the next patch. He’s always been about having fun and trying different builds. He still does higher level content too. Omg I'm really tired of explaining this to people. This isn't the point of the video at all, so stop focusing on it. Those dummies are 4 targets, with one 5th one off to the side that isn't getting hit almost at all... I am basically in full pvp gear, bad stats, not correct trinkets... It's not a real world scenario in a dungeon, it's PTR testing. For the love of god, focus on something else. Try enjoying the game beyond just thinking about the damage on 4 target dummies.

@@nolabets3130 The damage is very strong. As I said above, it's the PTR. You aren't going to get an accurate picture here for all the reasons I listed. And yes, damage is fun, but what's even more fun is a tier set bonus that creates amazing moments, like the Ele one does, with 100 meatballs flying out to all the enemies. That's what gets me excited. :)
