I bought the black leather Reeders for work in February and they've held up so far after wearing them every day. Only had to replace the laces recently. They were around $90

@@Fodaydontplay Canada's official site and they only had my size left. Lucky me. I saw a pair of canvas 1461s yesterday. I passed on them because last month I bought English leather 1461s for only $20 more. That price difference doesn't reflect the price difference at MSRP. I NEVER pay full retail for anything as I like to stretch out my shopping dollar. I can't wait for spring to rock my new wardrobe. I can't wait to wear my new red Chealseas with my new Levi's grey denim jacket.

Happy New Year Kamara from me across the pond 🍻🍾🍾🎉🎉 🇬🇧, Hope you have an amazing 2023 😁 And I've had my Made in England 1914 a decade this year and I love them, the only thing is the Quilon Leather although gorgeous, it can still take the skin off the backs of my heels if I wear them all day, so wear plasters to get around that, but yeah they're amazing and are still going strong 10 years later 👌🏻 I'd Love a pair of 1B60's, the knee high 20 eyelet boots, in soft Leather, always wanted a pair, so I might get a pair one year at some stage. What Doc's do you fancy next, a Soft Leather pair?

@@Fodaydontplay Thank you so much pal ☺️ Mine are the Made in England ones, and the Quilon Leather used on the MIE range is Super stiff like it was on vintage Doc's before my time or when I was a kid. They don't do it nearly as much as when they were new as I've broken them in over time, but it can still happen if I'm wearing them all day/night sometimes, so put plasters on to be safe 🤣 If I were to buy another pair of 1914's, I'd definitely go with a soft Leather Version 👌🏻 And the way I'd style 1B60's is with Jeans tucked into them, they also have zips like the Jadon's do too 😉

@@Fodaydontplay Looks like they only do the 1914's in smooth Leather Now, certainly here in the UK, Don't know about the US 🤔 But they also do the 1B99 which is also a 14 eyelet boot in soft Virginia Leather though and they also have zippers 👌🏻 They don't even do the MIE 1914 like I have anymore either. Yeah absolutely, I sometimes wear thick socks with them too, Wearing thick socks is definitely a good idea 😉👍🏻 I personally wish all Doc's had zippers, as it makes it so much easier to get them on and off 😁

I love the color of mie oxblood and my crazy horse needs more love this yearr 😂 I have 1490 MIE Oxblood for 3 years now... the thickness and high type leather boot tires me after 2hrs 😩🤣🤣 DM closed physical stores at my country and bought myself xmas gift a 50% off boot and bag 😍

Lol.. you really like oxblood.. I did not know the 1490 did that….that’s a a good deal but it sucks that they close them.. I read that they were trying to have more store in the upcoming years

My 1490 oxblood MIE had such a narrow toe box compared to the boots I have that are not MIE. I had to sell the oxblood MIE. My toes were crying…even went up a size. Still too narrow

Great collection. Perhaps you have enough pairs 😉. I only have 4 1460s in black, white, then in mono also black and white. The sandals didn’t work out for me. I heard the vegan material is weaker than the leather and would break easily. But I didn’t try. Perhaps give an update when you wore them for 6 months or so.

You do not have to dress them up.. it’s up to you… you can dress casual or even simple casual with them.. I have never put on a suit with mine
