Good to see that you weren't hurt. Your son would appreciate that. Thanks for sharing this challenge, and all the best in making it better than before 😊. BTW I let a mate drive my e28 and in the first second he dropped the clutch and I almost slapped him outta the car. He never sat in that car again 😂

I appreciate that! Looking forward to kicking the year off hard with a replacement shell. And that's interesting about you having a similar experience letting someone drive your e28 too 🤣

You wouldn't believe my Mentor had an e28 and that's when the BMW itch began... 96 was the year

Finishing up the process for my settlement right now. The plan is to get another shell and swap things over

One year has now passed since the day of the accident. Still waiting on my settlement 😂 @@thrty8street Car has been sold to a guy by the name of Eric Ingle in Asheville, NC. He's a well known guy around the vintage BMW community so I'm happy that the car's parts were able to be salvaged and hopefully live on with other cars on the community. I'm almost certain that I'll be looking for a manual e24 whenever I receive my settlement payment. I've always wanted a coupe anyway and at least it's in the same era as the e28 was 😄
