she said, "Why do I use niacinamide"... then she said "I actually don't know" 😜i just love her honesty .. people read from the labels or mug it up n then pretend they know so much.. so this is like such a honest and authentic skincare

The difference in texture is because of UV protection in the day cream, which makes it cream-like. The 10 ml version doesn't have UV ingredients in it. :)

Hey! Ive used the same niacinamide 10% serum before, saw a great reduction in my pores in just 10 days after that I started to break out even though I don't have sensitive skin, I have normal-dry skin. So I'd say watch out for that! Many people who've used 10% niacinamide have had similar experiences. May I suggest that you switch to a 5% strength from any other brand in case you exp something similar... Ever since The Ordinary came out with the 10% every brand blindly copied it and now dermatologists on youtube keep recommending anywhere between 2% - 5% esp if you have super sensitive skin.

Minimalist 5% niacinamide worked well for my combination skin. Used to get 2-3 pimples now and then, now very rarely.

A mistake people do with skincare is that they apply moisturizer on dry akin...please don't......moisturizer on damp skin is key to hydration. And helps with that glow toooo

My mother has always pointed out that we dont treat the face and the neck uniformly (even back of it) 😅 also recently learned that ears are a sensitive area that should also be covered with sunscreen

Hey, I’d personally suggest using more of the Minimalist products if you have oily skin with the fragrance free moisturiser. Cetaphil contains parabens which is why I don’t use them at all.

Hi Sheeba! Oh my i didnt realise that about the Cetaphil - do you have any suggestions for other mild cleansers? And I didn't understand the minimalist bit - should i be using more niacinamide?

Parabens are safe, it's just a clean beauty gimmick to get u to buy their products
@sanskritibarman4928 Жыл бұрын
@@SatshyaTharien no it's fine, you can have parabens in your skincare. Lot's of studies done to test it's safety and misinterpreted by journalists and clean beauty who don't know how one should read a research paper. Hence they jump to absurd conclusions!

Parabens aren't an enemy tho unless you're allergic

I have oily and sensitive skin so plz give some simple skin care routine at morning and night ☹️
@PB-96977 ай бұрын
Morning: cetaphil face wash, niacinamide 5% (if you have oily skin, suganda brand niacinamide serum is also very good) ponds oil free moisturiser, aqualogica sunscreen (pink bottle is amazing) Night: first cleanse with a gentle oil cleanser like loccitane or dhc one, or balm cleanser like Clinique one(for oily acne prone skin, micellar water also works well), second cleanse with cetaphil or any hydrating cleanser, niacinamide serum, light moisturiser for oily skin like ponds or thick moisturiser with ceramides preferably (dot and key one is very good, not too thick) Toners, essences, snail mucin, actives are additional steps. Products which contain actives like retinol need to be used strictly as per instructions to avoid damage to skin barrier (I would suggest researching and watching reviews/ instructions from certified dermatologists) Hope this helps!

That is a comedogenic product.. Not really ideal for oily skin... You can use minimalist or Dr sheths oil free moisturisers
