I just bought my 2nd P365 last Saturday. They are extremely hard to find around here and the price hadn't changed ($499), so I figured I'd better get it while I can. I plan to give it to my daughter when she gets her carry permit. The store had two of them. As I was waiting for the NICS check to go through, a woman bought the second one. They can't keep them in stock.

Excellent video, thanks brother. I very much prefer to pocket carry over waist band carry. I have an LCP 2 .380 but have been looking at the p365 for more capacity. This helped me confirm I can indeed pocket carry the 365. Great tip with putting the wallet in front.

I carry my 365 in a kydex pocket holster (Alabama holster). I dont trust semiautos in a soft holster. it easily fits in a deeper front pocket and doesn't print. Looks like you are carrying a cell phone. Draws quickly . I use the shorter mag with no extension. Works great but you cant load 10 rounds in it with slide closed so i use 9 plus one. good enough.

It's best to buy the sig p365 version with the safety if you're going to pocket carry or run when using soft holsters like that. If I was you I would install the safety so you can run with one in the chamber. I think the safety version might actually be better because I recently purchased the safety version and the trigger breaks at around 4.5 pounds. They must have recently upgraded the trigger for their new model. It's definitely the best pocket carry gun because of it's size and capacity.

I was not aware you can install the safety after the fact. I had a M&P Bodyguard which I liked the option of having the safety. The trigger on the bodyguard is awful and it’s low capacity which are the main reasons I switched to the P365. I have loved it so far.

@@GrantSmith_Bowreaper Yeah year's ago my friend had the bodyguard and tried to talk me into buying one. I ended up buying the m&p shield instead and im glad I made that decision. The shield is actually a better shooter than the sig p365 once you install the apex trigger kit. The shield is a better belt gun because it fits the hand a lot better than the p365. The p365 is the best pocket gun though.

Something I should stress is putting a rubber grip on the 365. Drawing from the pocket becomes WAY easier not to mention more comfortable when there's friction. I don't know why the XL is advertised so much, all the original needs is a longer and perhaps heavier barrel length, it would be even better than it already is.

I pocket carry the Shield 9mm first gen in a kydex holster in my pocket. It prints but who knows what it is and i wear my shirttail out. Interested in the 365 because it’s a little smaller.

I carried a Taurus G2c with a Desantis holster for 3 years. I replaced it with the p365 last year due to its size and weight. I have bad knees. I added a TLR6 used the same holster and I cannot understand why with the pocket guns available many still carry in a holster that you have to pull up before you can draw your gun, I can walk around anywhere no one has ever noticed it and I can draw my gun much faster and the element of surprise is key second's matter all I have to do is reach in my pocket I carry 10+1 and if you think you need more ammo YOU are overthinking it.

Agreed! The pocket holster can be great in certain situations that will actually allow you to draw much quicker. Example; I stopped at a local gas station to get a water. While standing in the checkout line one of the other members of the line started becoming disgruntled. It went from mutter some things under his breath to starting to threaten the employees at the gas station. I simply put my right hand casually in my pocket. To everyone else in the store I was just a man holding a water with his hand in his pocket. In reality I was gripping my gun in my pocket and no one could or would have known. The gentleman that was making threats had gotten to the point where I didn't know his next move and he definitely could have been armed and pulled out a firearm. He was clearly delusional and on a mind altering substance of some kind. This is just a personal experience where I felt a pocket holster gave me the advantage in a potential "situation." I carry appendix and have the 365. As a fat middle aged guy it rubs a bit with the stippling but for a small gun it does fit my large hand well. Alternatively I carry a Kahr cm9 -not as aggressive texture but also not as many rounds. Federal ammo has been putting vids out lately and last week had one with a jogger who carried in a belly band that looked pretty cool. I'm looking for that same thing for those days that I go out and try to cut down on my gut a bit. Nice Vid thanks.

Check out the Smartish brand phone cases. Mine currently holds 6 debit/credit cards and I keep cash between the phone and case itself. It's kinda rare for me to use cash. Anyway, it freed up pocket space from having to carry a wallet, which has been a game changer for pocket carrying my Glock 26. Btw, I'm looking at the P365 heavily, which is how I stumbled upon your video.

Regarding EDCs, I carried a Glock 26 with 12 round mags in an Alabama pocket holster, but it was too much weight for a pocket holster and I didn't like the double stack since I have smaller hands....then I switched to a Glock 43x in a pocket holster. That was ok. Now, I have a Glock 43x MOS with light and red dot. I don't think I'm going to be able to carry that in my pocket, so I am very likely to buy a P365 and an Alabama pocket holster....using the Glock 43x MOS for home defense.

Yes......the p365 is rather large for pocket carry unless you have cargos on.

Your band holster is a Pistol Wear brand (I could tell by the "PW" logo). Not sure which model. I've owned a couple of their chest band holsters and I really like them. They're not great for big pistols, but the 365 should be perfect for it. As for my EDC, I don't have the same job restrictions you do, so I have more choices. I almost always carry a Beretta PX4 Storm Compact in a kydex holster at the 4 o'clock position, with an extra 15 round mag in my front left pocket. I am currently looking for a smaller "pocketable" 9mm pistol (leaning towards the Sig P290RS).

Pretty big gun for pocket carry, as you acknowledging it printing confirms. For pocket carry I don't carry a subcompact 9 Luger, but a pocket-sized .32 Auto, a Beretta Tomcat. I don't have as many rounds as you do (8 vs your 11), or as powerful a cartridge, but I don't print (25% less bulk than your pistol), and my free recoil is only 1.6 ft•lb (vs your 7.0 ft•lb, a 78% reduction). The purpose of pocket carry is deep concealment. I can fit my CZ 75 Compact in the front pocket of my jeans, but it looks like I have an enormous tumor on my thigh.

Why on earth would you want a 40 caliber? The 40 caliber is probably the most hated caliber of all time. When you look at the used market you'll see more 40 calibers than anything else. My first pistol was a 40 caliber glock and I absolutely hated it. All you need is a 9mm unless you need something for animal protection. For animals 10mm is great. The 40 sucks for everything 😕.

Giving the Kel Tec P11 to a less fortunate friend in need who has no firearms at all but needs a pocket pistol It's never malfunctioned in over 400 rounds so I think it's probably good to go

Hahah. Feel naked if I don’t have those 4 things. Question: I carry a Kahr p380 which is 9.9 ounces unloaded everyday in a nemesis, I also have a shield9. I’ve been really questioning the 365 for pocket carry but at 17.8 ounces unloaded, isn’t it a bit heavy? I wear sweatpants and gym shorts 24/7. I’ve been wanting the shield 2.0 with integrated laser just to have 2 of the same weapons and same magazines everywhere but have also been wanting 365 or the hellcat.

I used to have the P365. I sold it regrettably. Going to purchase a used one tomorrow actually. I do have a Kahr CW380 which we both know is a dream to carry in any fashion. I did used to pocket carry the 365 with the non extended mag and honestly it was fine. It is a bit heavier but if you have draw strings just tighten it a bit more and you’re fine.
