I've never been a "purse gal". My first sling was a pickleball bag [i just liked the shape/size/water bottle holder, pockets....not a lot of choices back in the day😅] in....like 2015? Great pocketing held a large tablet plus other stuff. Now they're everywhere! It's great to have choices....😊🎉

I love sling bags. Especially smaller bags for use on ski lifts. Instantly slide it around front to get on the lift and have access to your snacks, schnapps, spare gloves, and whatever else you feel to be essential for a long day on the slopes. 👍🏻🤠🇺🇸

The Nutsac sling is the only sling i carry. I use it at work with the sling strap, and switch to the backpack converter outside of work. It carries all my essentials, with my most used stuff in the admin pouch at the top. Great stuff. I keep my most important EDC stuff in my pockets, but all my secondary gear goes in the sling. I got the Nutsac duffel in my car, with everything else.

My first "sling" was a fanny pack I wore across my chest, it was so uncomfortable, it would slide all over and refused to stay in place, I eventually ordered a Nutsac sling, I love it, I use it on my lighter days or when Im going out to game night and I gotta pack my switch or some controllers. Fits all that I need! Only draw backs are the D ring placement and the lack of leather at the bottom of the back their messenger bags tend to have. Besides that it is a pretty darn good bag. Oh and the lack of compartments/pouches is disappointing too and I had to make up for it by buying a EDC pouch.

I have the Defy insidious in dyneema so it's light. My most comfortable big sling. The JR just seems too short so it sits up really high, the extra length of the regular really is functional, helps it feel just right. The interior really is better used as a big empty space, the interior spaces are, kinda spartan.

I'm also a sling bag enjoyer. Right now I go between a belroy sling 9l and an alpaka mini tech pouch. I use the tech pouch in front when I'm carrying my backpack and the belroy when stand alone. To be honest, the belroy feels so clostraphobic. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't feel like 9l. Maybe I'm just not utilizing it right. Would love to know your thoughts on it. I LOVE the fabric and the zippers give my lil autistic ass such joy to run my fingers along. 😂😂😂
