"Do I fight the birds?" Trauma from Storm Veil kicks in. so glad I did a mage build. I knew there was gonna be shenanigans. Edit: Oh, the tree sentinel has a magic reflect with his shield... the WTF look on my face when I got hit with that was priceless.

7:22 actually you can kill him real easy if you picked vagabond or confessor as your starting class. the longsword and the broadsword both have the strongest ash of war skill out of all the starting weapons available, with the square off skill you can stancebreak him in two hits, which will stunlock him. anyone can beat him using that strategy, i was able to learn to beat him damageless in 10 minutes of practice. the reward kinda sucks tho, whats funny is if you started the game with his weapon you couldnt beat him, but with the longsword/broadsword you can. i love this boss because it teaches you how the game works instantly, if you just R1 spam like in the older dark souls games you will pretty much never beat him and that also translates to the rest of the game, you will have a way harder time if you dont make use of ash of war skills in elden ring, the times of R1 spam are over.

In the item/weapon menu, I advise you to read the meanings of the buttons below ) I also advise you to read the description of all the items found. For example, this Ruins Fragment 23:44 , on these ruins.
