Sir pls share your feedback on my approach, since I am not professionally trained in financial domain your guidance would be valuable. I believe in value investing which means picking large caps when they are little sideways, eg HDFC, Kotak, Dabur ,SBI card, Asian paints etc. This reduced my downward risk and has rewarded me pretty decently, but since I want to keep my stocks for at least 10 - 20 years, it would be great if I could get your feedback on this approach.
