Those cuddles 🥺 One thing I have to do every night before bed is change my pillowcase! It's so refreshing to use a fresh pillowcase every night, and this wonderful dermatologist I follow often reminds people to do it to keep their skin healthy and happy 😊

SO relaxing! My favorite part of my routine is my skincare. I throw on some chill worship music, put my phone down, and wash away the day. Then I read and journal, and pass out! It's a sacred time for me.

As a mom of 3 young kids, I don't get the best sleep ever but I do get much better sleep when I put my phone to bed!! That truly is *THE* tip. Do it!

I love you, Mollie but I have to say it's your dog that caught my attention. I used to have a Blue Merle Australian Shepherd and your dog looks just like him!! Oliver (I called him Ollie) was such a comfort to me and I miss him a lot but seeing your dog gives me that same feeling of comfort. Thank you for sharing him🥰

Honestly I love my routine SO much! There are definitely days where I’m exhausted and just go straight to bed but I notice I never sleep as well as if I prep my mind and body for rest 😴

This was so relaxing to watch! My favorite part of my evening routine has to be my skin care. Once the skin care is done I know that it’s bed time!! I also love snuggling with my hubby in the evening after a long day! 🥰

Such a good routine you have! My favorite part of wind down is spending time with my husband when the house is quiet. I also make sure not to forget my probiotic before bed, and love to read until feeling sleepy.

I felt cozy just watching this! We just moved to a new home so we are finally settling into our new routines. So far my favorite evening wind down is reading stories with my (almost) 4 year old before tucking him in. Once he’s asleep, I’ve been spending some time reading for myself as well. One of my favorite simple joys that I’m now getting to share with my kiddo.

I definitely have more things I want to implement in my nighttime routine, but I got my Tempdrop a few weeks ago and I’ve really enjoyed seeing my temps in the morning as I work on healing my body, so putting that on at night is a must!

Thank you for sharing this. I super struggle with bedtime routine. It’s something I want to grow in disapline with, but I’ve struggled to find what works and how to stick to it. I love the idea of putting the phone to bed. I’ve argued with my husband since we’ve been married tht phones should not be used in bed at nighttime. He says that if it’s sitting next to him it’s hard to not watch videos, as he struggles going to sleep. Maybe I can convince him to put them elsewhere and it will help us both 😉 thank you for all the insight!

Oh girl I totally get that. My husband falls asleep on his phone every night 🙁 I wish he would take my advice and leave it in another room but he says he needs it to turn off his brain. But hey, we can't control them so that's why I use my eye mask! haha

Hi Mollie! I love the salt lamp night light idea. I enjoy taking a bath to unwind, but that would definitely take it to the next level! I have tried the no phone rule, but sadly failed so far. I think “putting it to bed” in another room is exactly what I need to try to eliminate that temptation lol. Gong to give that another shot! My night routine (and morning routine) must have is my sunset/sunrise alarm clock. It really helps me to utilize light to signal my body when to rest and rise. Thanks for the awesome content!

Your videos are chock full of useful tips. 🙂 My alarm clock broke so I have been using my phone as my alarm which I don’t like. Definitely need to get another one so I can put my phone to bed again. I also like the idea of walking after dinner. With the warmer weather approaching, why save after dinner walks for vacations? Thanks for being so genuine in sharing all your information.

So funny you mention that because we were just talking about how one of the reasons we probably always feel so good on vacation is because we naturally walk after meals! It does always make it feel like we're on a trip implementing it at home 🤩

I can’t wait to try a kid version magnesium for him to relax at night .. And I’m taking your advice about putting the phone away before bed. Thank you so much for sharing this video! It couldn’t have been more timely for me. I struggle with chronic insomnia and this week has been particularly bad. I find that any little bit of extra stress or anxiety can really wreck my sleep quality. I’m excited to implement some of the methods you use and see if they help improve my sleep! I also just have to say a huge thank you for what you do. I found your channel a couple months ago when I started researching more about pro-metabolic eating. I have Hashimoto’s and am also gluten sensitive, so I love your what I eat in a day videos. They’ve given me such great ideas for snacks and meals. Over the last 8 years, I’ve done paleo, keto, whole30, intermittent fasting, you name it, and nothing has made me feel as good as eating to fuel my metabolism. And the food freedom I am starting to discover is amazing! I’m starting to appreciate food so much more for what it can do for my body. It’s still a struggle to eat every few hours because I have 4 young kids and am a stay at home mom who also homeschools. Hours go by before I realize I haven’t fueled my body and am starting to feel the negative effects. And I’m still working on cutting back on my major caffeine habit (I love coffee way too much, lol). But every little step more that I take on this journey to heal my body has me feeling so grateful to be able to learn more about how my body works and to be thankful for what it can do, and even to have grace with myself when I discover my body’s limitations. And even to be intentional in being grateful to the Lord for my body and to not neglect my spiritual and mental health alongside my physical health. Your videos have been hugely helpful in my journey so far, so thank you from the bottom of my heart! Keep it up and just know that you truly are blessing those who are learning like I am.

Awesome video as always, Mollie! I'm super sensitive to light (chronic migraines), so I actually find my sleep improves when I'm managing the kind of light I'm exposed to throughout the day. Apart from exposing myself to sunlight or blue light early in the day, I try to always keep my screens on "night mode" with a warmer hue, and also adjusted my iPhone settings to always emit a slight red tint. I also wear glasses with a yellow or pink tint whenever I'm somewhere with fluorescent light, which helps a lot (Zenni optical has many affordable options for this). Those Himalayan night lights sound like game changers!

Gosh, we are so similar. I love your evening routine and what you shared with us. A part of my evening routine is a sleepy time tea, the same magnesium as you along with a Calcium D-gluturate and melatonin. Like you, I am obsessed with sleep and sleep so well now days.

Hey mollie! New subscriber today 😂 I love your channel!! I wanted to know what alarm clock you use? I want to start putting my phone to bed for sure! And I’m also going to get a salt lamp today for my bedside table and I want the plug ins!! So awesome! I love a good night time routine!

Hey Jessica, welcome to the party! 👯‍♀️🤗 I actually use my Apple watch as my alarm clock. I like that I can put it in sleep mode so I don't get any kinds of alerts and then it just gently vibrates to wake me up. So much more pleasant than an alarm sound! But in the past I've also just purchased a super cheap bedside alarm off Amazon ⏰

I just subbed to your channel. Yes. I actually got the hatch restore and that thing does wonders. That thing actually has taken the phone out of my hands. As a busy working pianist I have checked emails before work and actually have gotten on the piano at home before bed checking emails about the next day. Not good cause i wake up wondering if my emails have been received for some stupid reason. I am a smart phone junky too but I use it like a computer of course. It works hard during the day and I actually have been pressing it to work during the night along with me playing the piano till we hours of the morning sometimes. Well, this year of 2023 I decided to invest in the hatch and put away my phone for the night. The hatch need your phone to connect the app up to it but everything else is done for you. You can control the hatch via the app of course but now I don’t even do that. I just use the buttons on the hatch and I got my wind down routine. Now I don’t even think about playing the piano before bed cause that is my work and last thing I want to hear is pianos before I have to sleep. I am trying to wind down from that so I can rest and boy oh boy I get transported to flight at night I feel. I have always slept deep but it was not constant. Or consistent. I would go to bed sometimes early one night and then the next day super late. Well, I have changed that. Now I don’t even check my emails before I go to bed. I try and keep my piano playing during the day and answering work emails for the day into the evening but at a certain time before night I close that down.

I love you rock salt lights! Girl how do you get it to not leak salt all over your nightstand!??🤣 I loved mine but trashed it because it was a messsss

Question! Does the temp drop blink or have a light the whole time it’s on?

Great question but no! It just blinks when you turn it on so you know it’s on, but it has no lights or any EMF at all when you sleep (only when you turn it on or sync it to your phone)

Hey Mollie! Great video! I LOVE taking magnesium before bed, as well! I am sadly an IG scroller while “trying” to fall asleep😬 I will have to start charging my phone elsewhere at night to see the difference it makes in my sleep.

My husband has tinnitus from a military injury, and he has the TV on to fall asleep. I hate it! He’s been doing this for years before we met. Any suggestions? I love your channel, your energy, and Gunner! 🐶

Ah I get that because my husband often struggles with insomnia and he “needs” to watch something to fall asleep 😜 So he watches on his phone with headphones and that’s why I wear my eye mask!

I love the idea of not going on your phone before bed. My husband and I don’t keep our phones in our bedroom and I do believe that it really helps with sleep!

Loved this! I seriously need to completely remove my phone from my room at night. One thing that’s helped me sleep better is a magnesium supplement that another KZbinr recommended it’s called Hello Mello by a company called Ned- I wake up so rested and refreshed!

I love how you prioritize such a restful evening routine! I’d love to adopt some of these habits, I’m awful with scrolling Instagram right before bed! And the lavender and magnesium bath sounds dreamy! 😌🛁
