Great video, your Evo is so clean. Glad you went with the 4-6 rad, I got the same in my Evo 7 but I got a used one for cheap. You should have got the fan while you were changing this one out. Keep up the good stuff

Good choice, great job, as for the fluid, depending on the climate where the car is first time sold as new, this determines the choice of fluids, red for hot weather and green for cold weather climate. 🗻🌋

What style/size intercooler did you have on to fit the front power brace?

should have gone with the black hoses to keep the bay looking clean and not too color-scattered. but i'm glad the 4/5/6 radiator fits! i had one on mine before i upgraded the manifold and went with a bigger turbo, and then the mishimoto 4/5/6 didn't fit anymore; i had to go back to the oem radiator to clear the new go-fast bits. keep that in mind for future upgrades!

Love the new IC, someone in Europe added the OVE stencil to his IC so when someone see's his evo in the rear view they know what to do 😅

mounting holes are diferent on the 4-6 fans so you're gonna run into the same issue if you get the mishimoto evo 7-9 fan+shroud. Thats why I just went with the 7-9 rad so I can drop in their fan in the future.

Did you have to open a bleeder valve when refilling the coolant? Also how easy was the fitment? I’ve heard some mixed reviews. Highly considering this or koyorad for mine

Hey bro what would you say is the trigger to upgrade the stock oem radiator, would power like up to 400 hp for stock and beyond for upgrade?

Hi bro! Thank you for tuning in! I don’t have exact horse power numbers to trigger a new radiator, but you definitely need to upgrade if you have problems with overheating or if you damage your stock. The stock completely fine if your not planing huge power, but if you plan to go new turbo, built motor, etc, it is a great investment to upgrade your cooling system like your Intercooler and radiator. For something like 400+ power, highly recommended to upgrade the radiator because with power gains means hotter engine, which means more cooling power. A lot of people overlook the radiator and get focused on the go fast parts and forget about the cooling.
