Here's my story. No contact works! There's hope for anyone reading this. Togeher 2.5 years. Distance relationship. 18 months it was amazing. Fell apart due to my insecurities and arguments and fights. I put weight on....he blocked me for a month. Full block. Told me he didn't love me. Felt heartbroken. Reached out once. To no hope. At all. Worked on myself. Lost weight. Felt positive but hopeless losing him. To cut a long story short we talked on our dating site as a way of communication (we met originally here) and after a long convo and soul searching on my part mainly.....we are bk together. Taking it slow but please do the work......it works!

Sunshine Sunny Honestly no. We had problems that no matter how hard we tried, were irreconcilable. The woman I'm dating now is mature enough to encourage me, be open minded, and is full of love. It's not perfect, but we understand each other. I try to be her superman and her mountain. And she is amazing. Shes very patient with me, encourages me and we have fun together. Every relationship will have it's challenges, but it's up to you two to be mature about it. And most importantly, have fun!

I totally agree with you on your topic@isaacsmith- and with what you said about if they couple were together for a long period. But in my opinion I also feel while yes the longer length in the relationship definitely helps in efforts to possibly getting your ex back, but also feel that every relationship is different and unique is their own way. That sometimes obviously more than a month or two in a relationship, but further 4-8 months is still enough time to establish a true love connection and that even under a year their still a possibility of a reconnect.

I was under a year with my recent ex now and just a few weeks ago broke up, and about a week or two from today, to the point of blocked calls, social media. But prior to all of it ending,,( which was honestly mutual and agreed upon with both her and I) to maintain contact but limited, to be still invited to holidays, even still wanting to go fishing with my mother. I a couple weeks after the breakup was doing ok until something came up one thing lead to another. Harsh words exchanged from both sides, mean vile things you literally don't mean but are hurt and upset, damned me to being blocked on everything. Under the year with this woman I have never met anyone remotely close to her in the sense of how they understood me, how much affection and love I was given from her. Beyond anyone I've ever dated in the past. My willingness to change small things she or I didn't like it agree on. I can honestly say the best thing that has ever happen to me. And the most true love I've ever experienced. I truly believe she felt the same due to many deep heartfelt things said, actually doing and applying. Hands down i put my soul on the line, this woman felt and shared the exact same thing I was in every way. 6 maybe 7 months together. I believe and feel with under the year "time fame" everyone projects would help or increase your probability or getting back. I believe that in my short time frame, the break the went into a breakup, which was truly justified mutually between us, but later emotions ran high and blocked. I still without a doubt still have a for a reconnect. Even thought I cannot contact her right now. Evening though under a year, even if the breakup didnt end on bad terms but after the breakup got to the point of blocked. I still feel without a doubt I still have a chance. I mean she blocked me but not my mother on social media? I mean my ex loves my mother. Like loves her to death. So I feel it's bad now it sucks, but in a subtle possibly in a hint of a way has that line of communication with my mother to check up on me, or to go thru her FB to see how I'm doing ect. I believe if it was completely one-hundred-percent done as far as her and even if I still felt this way about her she was completely blocked everything that's usually how it goes I've been through enough relationships to know that is usually the standard if it's a bad breakup, every time that happens.

Whereas to my recent ex and the caliber of love I shared with them and vice versa, and the many many experiences we had shared in under a 7-month 6 month period, the extremely strong connection she felt with my mother and vice-versa my mom is not a by any means not a nice person to get along with but she's very stubborn and very in her ways and for the fact my mom already started seeing her as a daughter-in-law and my ex literally in full agreeance. To point out aside from maybe joking about said thing but actually knowing it was coming from the heart and was genuine. She too is broken in a sense from her past relationship. So she isn't perfect and she has made in the past rash and unexpected decisions or assumptions. But this falling through. I still feel and believe I have a probable shot down the road. but with the fight that happened after The Break-Up and this was a week or so down the road. The verbal on the phone fight that happened, even the nasty people ugly things said from me and from her and getting blocked I still feel there will be another shot for me just based off of the mutual how cool I was at the time break up when she wanted to break and she wanted time and space I handled it like a man I accepted what she wanted to say and I feel like afterwards when she gave the green light to still talk to still be there for the holidays to still want to see my family. Even after a couple weeks later the conversation that of ended all communication. I still feel that in the moment things were said both sides and she felt you know with the new anger and upsetness that I brought put her in a mode where she did want to talk to me how can I talk to her like that I'm a monster when this woman clearly fell in love with me we were going to get a place together I mean the list goes on. I'm sorry if I'm rambling but I just want to speak my situation and how I feel with under a time frame of a year but like I said mutual breakup and there was another guy on the side and if there was you know there was but I know that woman truly loves meand I know how for a fact just how the break and then The Break-Up happened and how I handled it regardless of the fight that ensued weeks later I think because of how mutual wasn't how I handled it I still have that window of opportunity

Folks sometimes your ex blocks you because maybe they are having a hard time with the breakup too. Nothing is ever black and white. The only thing you can do is move on and not let it bother you. Not to mention they know how to get ahold of if/when they want to communicate with you. In the meantime STICK TO HEALING.

I came to this video to see the solution for getting blocked by an ex. But DAMN. I can’t relate to self sabotaging a relationship I value. I would never put myself in a position to lose them. I can’t believe people destroy their own relationships and then get mad when the person has some self respect and doesn’t want to be with them anymore. At least I can say - yes I got blocked during no contact but I did absolutely nothing to get blocked. The frequent sight of my pictures probably upset them because they ruined a thing they had good thing going with me, and if they think that by dumping me tha they’ve solved their own issues he’s sadly mistaken, because what ever problems he had with me will most definitely come up with his next relationship. You say that people should continue to keep doing the work for months after a break up, but can you make a video actually talking about specific examples of the kind of work to do? Other than watching videos over and over, what else can you do? I personally feel that once i see a video and learn something, it will stick with me for life and I won't forget it. Other than watching videos, sticking to no contact, seeing your friends, having hobbies to fill your time, improving your career etc etc theres not much more work you can do. The main thing to worry about is when your ex contacts you and you have to have the discipline to stay cool and calm, not rush things nor show too much emotion.

I had issues with what she did DURING the relationship and that got me insecure about her past, but we were able to make it through that pretty easily. What we weren’t able to make it through was the night she talked to her ex behind my back and said she’d never love me as much as she loved him… that cut me apart. I was going to propose in 2 weeks and my entire world shattered in that moment. I haven’t been the same since and that was over 14 months ago. I went to a counselor to get help with my past trauma, and when I told him it was just trauma and anxiety, he accused me of lying to the therapist about my symptoms

Jealousy is one of the biggest relationships killers. I broke up with my ex twice for this reason. I felt completely trapped, without freedom. She would even feel jealous of my sister, stalk my social media, told me to not talk with strangers, go out with any girl-friends, etc. But, she did the final break up. I begged her back bc despite all the bullshit. She told me she would go to a psychologist, so I trusted that she could eventually change. But well, after almost meeting up again to talk about everything, she started to ignore me, telling me she would not get back to something that has been very unstable, and that she needs space and it’s probably not the best time. Later on she blocked me. I was really shocked about this because I didn’t see it coming. I admit I’ve had my flaws, but in general I did nothing wrong to her. Probably I was sometimes even way too nice, despite her behavior. Feels like I’m the guilty, she blames me for it, when in reality she sabotaged the relationship with her extreme jealousy. Excellent video. I really hope that people who see this understand the importance of doing the work after a break up and continuing to do it for at least 8 months. It's no exaggeration. If your ex reaches out you will be in far better position if you've done the work. It might be counter intuitive when the break up is relatively fresh, but you might discover after you've done the work that YOU don't want your ex back when they do reach out. As for the guy in the email, I listened in amazement at the series of bad mistakes he made. He has to just let her go at this point and do a lot of work on himself to improve his skills. The reason why I blocked the guy I was dating (for a few months) who wasn't even my type was very rude but I gave him a chance anyways and he fucked up, not only once but twice, the first time (its a long story) and the second time he ended things with me because supposedly he told me he has feelings for someone else, and when I asked him who was this person he has feelings for because I wanna know who, he didn't have the audacity to tell me who it was and he was very rude in his messages and he very insincere. His first apology didn't seem very honest or nice about it and when he ended things with me he basically told me "I finally told you how I feel and that's on you to take it" in the rudest way possible. After that I deleted him from my life and social media, I have always been very nice and loyal to people so I was pretty genuinely sad about it for awhile. Two months later he kept trying to watch my insta stories (my account is public) every single time I would post about my travel pictures he would see them. He also kept trying to add me several times after also. Eventually I got so fed up with his unnecessary rude ways, I blocked him, he has no reason to see what's going on in my life, he made his choice to leave me so accept the consequences. Once you hurt someone especially me when I have a humble and caring personality and people do tell me that I'm super calm and very humble and sweet personality, I was so done with guys like him taking advantage of my kindness. I was practically crying sometimes at night because it was unbelievable how a person like him could just treat a caring girl like that as if they were nothing. I would never disrespect someone that I'm dating, I get it if feelings change but if you want to end things with someone at least be honest and kind about it, there's no reason to put us down further. That's one of the reasons why I feel scared to even try again because it's always been the same with me when it comes to dating, some guy just mistreats you or likes someone else way better than you or aren't ready for commitment. Those three have always been the same issues with me personally when I'm dating a guy. It truly saddens me that I became the way I am not willing to try again even when some guys are interested in me I'm very closed off and cannot trust again because this guy I was seeing wasn't the first disappointment, it was the last disappointment of dating. Several guys prior to my last relationship were also disappointments and a learning experience, I just hope one day a good guy will come although I do have this special guy (my longtime crush/friend) in mind (I've always been in love with him since the first day I met him) but he has a girlfriend :( but I have loved him even before I met my douchey ex. Normally, I don't talk crap about my ex but he really was a piece of work and I'm a very respectful person so its very rare for me to say that about someone. What do you think Coach Craig? I admit i said some rude things 1 time to my ex and kind of bluff broke up wirh her in the heat of the moment. So me and my first love of 3 years separated because we where worried about our futures and it was damaging my masculinity and attraction in the relationship. We also wanted to avoid worse heartbreak in the future. Unfortunately a few days later I find out she was pushed into kissing another guy by her mates at a club, a week after we broke up. I sent her a text saying 'if you care about me at all, you will talk to me about this' as I wanted some kind of response to it. But she blocked me on everything. I still have major feelings for her, I do miss her as a person, but I also know a lot of it is rejection anxiety and wanting what you can't have. I need to build myself now, but at times I really want her back and I just don't know what to tell myself. I hate that she has been the one to make all the big decisions like blocking me and even breaking up in the first place. It's immasculating! Is our relationship lost forever? Should I ask that she unblocks me (since we aren't enemies or anything)? Will she come round after some time alone/in rebound relationships?

I've read a tremendous amount of information recently regarding relationships, and pretty much across the board, they say that in a relationship, even if only one person is trying to make a significant change in their behavior, the entire relationship can be changed dramatically even with just one person doing extra work. If you think about it, it kind of makes sense, because everything we do has an impact on our partner, so if we significantly stepped up our game and starting making much better choices and doing a lot more work for our partner, at the barest of minimums, our partner should feel significantly better about us, which will theoretically then cause them to think better thoughts and act better in return back to us

That’s what happened to me during our break up on Jan 9th. She said we need to block each other so we can’t see what each other is up to.
