I would strongly encourage anyone going through anything remotely like this to just accept the loss and move on. I just found out that my ex started dating someone shortly after we broke up. She too gave mixed messages. not to this extreme but enough to leave a bitter taste in my mouth. If someone can move on with someone else that quickly, it says so much more about them than it does about you. You'll work on your issues and become stronger and more attractive and knowledgeable. They more than likely will not. Remember that if they ever do revisit the idea. Though, again, I strongly encourage you to just move on. Waiting for someone else to change their mind is a slow death and in most cases, isn't even worth it. You deserve someone who wouldn't dream of leaving or replacing you.

My ex started dated 2 days after we broke up (5 yrs relationship) And 2 months later she got with a guy, by February they moved in together and after 4 years they still together and have a kid. That's the thing, there are chances that things can work with the new guy. But that shouldn't matter to you, because it's not your life anymore, you should focus on you and only you. Will her relationship last many more years? Idk and I don't care. I'm in a better place and that's all that matter. Pain eventually goes away, how long? Who knows, but it does. So don't think you're the only one who's going through it.

3 months after my breakup & my ex is still with the person she left in arms with. Hardest 3 months of my life but I can slowly sense myself picking it up, I’ve deleted all social media (apart from this) and I’m working out, concentrating on my career & practicing mindfulness every day. Tbh whatever an ex does after a breakup is none of eithers business. Some people get into rebounds because they're inexperienced or aren't mature enough to deal with the pain. I've seen it happen. Doesn't last. Eventually everyone gets the one that was meant for them. So be kind to yourself and stay strong

RIP Margaret! Will miss your advise on life and relationships. This video summed up my ex who got engaged after a few weeks with the rebound and married after a few months then started to reach out and just didn’t know what she wanted. I had to walk away for my own mental health. Don’t have time and energy to get into a relationship with people who come from a broken family. A few months heartbreaks are better than a life long misery.

My ex (broken up a year & two months) wanted to take a 'break'. I heard from him two or three times a month after our break up. He needed 'time' to get himself together to be a better man for me, didn't feel good enough for me, needed to find his own apartment (lived with family), needed to be single, etc. He was grasping at straws but gave me a bunch of different reasons for the break. I never reached out (I have a lot of pride). I found out in July that he had gotten back with his ex of four years (the woman he was with before me) and was moving in with her and also planning to have a child. I initially felt hurt to think that the very plans we discussed he was now putting into motion less than a year later with an ex who he swore he would never have anything to do with again. I felt a lot of different things but in the end I realized that this says more about him than it could ever say about me and my worth

Early 30’s just like my ex. My ex doesn’t like to be alone She would actually call her ex “crazy Steve”. I would walk in and she would stay on the phone with him. Her guy friends that she would talk to every-once in awhile. She would talk for a few minutes when I walked in and then get off the phone Oh, I forgot to mention that she sadly is an alcoholic. After speaking in depth to her sister and trying to get an intervention We lived together for almost two years. Margaret mentions life management. In the almost two year. She washed 6 loads of laundry. I did it all, cooked cleaned shipped And yes, I even do windows. End result is, living with an alcoholic is like walking on eggshells. When she would get drunk, either she wanted sex, which I would t give her. Then she would get aggressive physically with me and throw me out. The next day, it’s like nothing ever happened Lesson is, breakups are painful. I’m now 53, and wasted two years of my life with a 32 year old who is smart, artistic, creative articulate beautiful to mention a few. But In the end, she was never ready for a relationship She truly needs to fix herself before she goes back into a relationship. Me, I’m fine. The videos have helped me quite a bit.

was with my ex for almost two years and got engaged a little over a year in, we broke up in march due to 'distance' which was 52 minutes away from each other and 'loss of spark' according to her, she started dating a guy three months after us and just broke up with him sept 15th but during the time they dated she texted me twice in two months at random " love you" and "hey baby" I only asked her twice how she was and no reply back, would this be considered a rebound? she is 23 and I am now 30m I do still love her, but now I am unsure of what to even do in regards to her, the relationship was not bad at all.

I dated this girl for 5 years, during which time we never got engaged because I didn't want to, but she was in love with me and i think she really was. I went abroad to live and in the meantime she found someone else. All this two years ago. She then decided to stay with him and end things with me. But while she was dating him, however, every now and then he looked for me (probably when things with him was getting worse). After about a year, however, HE ended the relationship with her and she suffered a lot according to what friends said because she had fallen in love with him. In these two years she has always told me that there can no longer be anything between us, yet every two months she shows up again and something happens between us. Or we hang out and kiss, like last Sunday. However, every time I take a step towards her she no longer responds and disappears. I think she's still in love with the guy she found while I was abroad, even if she doesn't want to admit it to anyone. She still sees him for sporting activities. In fact, in the last two years I have tried several times to implement no contact, but every time she showed up again I fell for it, without ever achieving anything. So she has always considered me present in her life, because she knows that as soon as she says something I am available, she has never experienced what it means to "lose me". Do you think I still have any hope? Does the fact that she is now in love with another person eliminate any hope? Could a longer no contact be of any use?

My ex left our 12 year relationship to someone he met online during g covid lockdown and she moved in with him within 2 months of actually knowing him. Well now 6 months into their relationship. I did no contact practically half of 2020. She is married to someone who left her for a younger woman. My ex acts as she is just great!! The woman thinks she is a shaman" and manipulates him completely. We cannot even say hello because she gets upset that he is talking to me. Inmature... my ex simply forgot all we had. So he acts as I dont exist anymore. But I hear she knows everything about me. . He was still missing me and still loved me during lockdown and in the meantime he was talking to her??. How can a man be so cruel... I dont know what to expect. I hear he is not very happy and there are troubles with her ex husband as there is a child in between. My ex certainly got himself in a drama situation and probably the last thing he needs but he chose that situation while breaking my heart and disregarding our relationship...

The only thing anyone should be doing is thank God you are no longer with this person. They do it like a cat in a litter box to cover up their old crap. They do it usually with an excuse on why they are justified to move on quickly. However in reality where healthy people live it not necessarily not looks pathetic it also shows others how this individual acts in their pathology. The only thing you should be thinking about is in a third person view on how this looks. Remove your feelings because those belong to that individual. They do not live in reality thus not seeing how they actually are. A true person suffering from NPD or some sort of cluster B.

Craig- my ex broke up with me and completely cut me out of his life. I found out 2 1/2 weeks later via fb profile change (as that's all I can see) that he was in a relationship already. He basically told me he broke up with me because he didn't want to "wait" on his gf and wanted to start from the ground up, he didn't want my responsibilities, I take care of my mom who suffered a stroke and I have a 7 yr old son. Can you do a video on he broke up with me because of my responsibilities and is there still a chance?
