Second story by u/IndividualDiamond606 - original post was deleted. Channel got the post from the BestOfRedditorUpdates sub and left out 2 additional updates (don't ask me why they were too lazy to open OP's profile). Mom / sister put a tracker on OP's dog's harness, OP moved to avoid sister / mom. Ex was fired from his job due to the circumstances, he will not be re-hirable in his industry due to his reputation. Sister threatened self-harm, backed off once police were mentioned. Dad moved in with OP, watches the kids, divorcing mom (last update was a year ago, might be concluded by now). Mom / sister are still psychotic whenever there's a chance to be that way.

The first story is why you can't spare people's feelings, even your own kids. Instead of informing his daughters to help them understand and grow from the situation, they ended up being manipulated by their mother and now resent her for it. For the second story, the sister should have minded her own damn business and the mother should have respected OP for her decisions. Now they're behaving like lunatics just waiting for a restraining order. The ex needs therapy on his fixation for OP. The man needs to take care of his kids and live his life.
