Oh yeah, fully forgot about that part because It was only one small sentence on the side, but given the context SIL probably found out and told/threatened wife "tell your husband yourself or I'll do it." Gives the entire situation a compleately new light. And I was even just about to comment something like *_"While divorce is ALWAYS the correct course of action in case of cheating in marriage, he could've been at least a bit amicable because she immediately regretted it after the fact and voluntarily called him the next morning, so she at least deserved a "somewhat amicable" seperation instead of going full scorched earth on her."_* ... well so much for that and her voluntarily confessing/actual regret. Like basically 95% of cheaters, she only regrets she got caught and would've never told a soul and probably continued to cheat if she wasnt discovered and pressured into confessing.

Women always underestimate men at all levels that's why. They think we only think with our cocks and aren't determined when we decide something. If a woman doesn't respect you completely, drop her. It's been shown time and time its the only time a woman will be loyal.

@@Taveren Yeah, usually affairs happen because they aren't physically attractive to you but this time it was the opposite. Her husband got into shape and became more attractive instead of seeing this as a good thing she got insecure because she was the hot one in the relationship and when someone else found her attractive it boosted her ego. WHAT ABOUT HIM?! HER HUSBAND FOUND HER ATTRACTIVE! But no she didn't think of going to him. And even if she was honest and never decided to do it again it was her mistake. There is only one way for both of them to be happy and together forever and that is 💀

Had an ex like this, she was by far the prettier one and I was abit fugly, as I could older I grew into my looks and she would get very insecure if she even noticed a women look my way. And would berated me that “I dressed too attractive” or “my hair is styled too well.” In all honesty of being with her for several years at that point I was constantly called ‘rocky’ because I was punching up and alot of people would berate me saying “how does a guy like you get a girl like that.” So as I got older, I took care of myself more, because I was worried that people’s negative comments would make her think less of me. But, as I was getting older and I guess a little better looking she would then go fish for other guys praise and affections, purposely would take way more provacative pictures on social media to get other people’s attention. She even sent my friend a picture of her in nothing but underwear, but he is a good mate who immediately told me and sent me there whole chat thread. That b**ch even tried to go so far to try and blame him… there talks where normally very casual and in all honesty he wasn’t even that fond of her. He really only thought “yeah she’s alright” but wouldn’t go out of his way to talk to her because he always had a bad feeling about her. I sided with him 100% and she tried saying that he was trying to ruin our relationship… delusion little girl. She tried to control me to the point where I had to show what I was wearing to simply go to college. If I wore anything that slightly suited me I had to change into something not particularly fitting or clean looking. While she would go in the tightest, skin revealing clothing she could find, while flaunting her body when she saw men walk by. It blows my mind at how so many women can be jealous of their own partner who starts to look attractive and only shows affection to them! My ex went so far to try and say I was even more ugly now and people just lie to me. I wasn’t bothered if people felt I was ugly, I just didn’t want to have her find me unattractive. I stopped all intimacy a few months before I left her. One night she got completely naked and wanted s** I said no because I don’t want to do it with someone who will go to any length to make me feel worse just so you can feel good. She then slapped me and named plenty of people that we both knew who would do it with her just from seeing her naked. When I say this chick loved her self, I mean it. I’m pretty sure she just looks in her mirror and it turns her on… I left her a few days after our anniversary and all I wanted to do was treat her coldly, she flaunted herself, degraded me, flirted with others and would take time out of her day to tell me who wanted her and her number and how she can have anyone she wanted. A year after I left her and completely cut her off, she made a random insta account and started messaging me, I knew it was her immediately despite the account name. She kept trying to tell me that she had been with someone new and they was so much better, even then sending me a nude photo of herself. I did not ask for it, nor do I agree with sending those sort of pictures. Always been very internet safe and never trust those sort of pictures to always be in safe hands. She quickly deleted it and I told her how happy I was that she was out of my life and good to see that she was being herself. It was very unlike her to send nudes as that’s the first time I’ve ever seen her send one, but like I said she loved herself so of course. I told her multiple times that her new fella must be dull and boring if you’re sending your so called ugly ex boyfriend nudes and trying to joke I was single now and I only have my hand to satisfy me. Unknown to her I had started dating my now fiancé just a few months prior. I didn’t tell her because it had nothing to do with her who I was now seeing. What makes this even better was that her new boyfriend messaged me a year later, calling her crazy and that she missed me. I initially didn’t have a clue who he was and thought he just messaged the wrong person. After he told me who he was I found out what a piece of work he was and thought to myself “these two are perfect for eachother.” He offered to send me her nudes and I swiftly said no, we had common ground on how she acted and treated others but I could tell he wasn’t exactly what someone would call a nice person either. So as much as we had common ground and the chat was civil I knew I didn’t want the chat to be anything other than a one time thing to happen. I made an excuse to stop talking and that was that. All I gathered was we both thought the same of her and both hated her. The next morning I find my phone blowing up from her mum messaging me asking what her daughter’s boyfriend told me the night before. I told her it had nothing to do with her and I don’t want to be communicated further, as I sent that message I get a huge paragraph about how he is abusive and threading to send her nudes everywhere. Quite frankly I couldn’t care less about how he treated her, because I knew she did the same to him, as she did me, she is very abusive and manipulative and likes to do two things. 1 take pictures of her self provocatively and 2 punch her boyfriend. Yes she hit me many times and glad to see that she has ended up with a piece of work fitted perfectly for her. Her mum tried to manipulate me into helping them with her daughter’s new boyfriend. I told her I was much happier and now live with the woman of my dreams… my ex then took over her mums phone started texting me frantically. Telling me that her new boyfriend is mean and I don’t know what he is like. I told her to just get over me already and leave me alone. She said she was over me, I pointed out that her and her mum have come to me for help and you that she had even told her new boyfriend that she should go back to me… so tell me how that works you walking contradiction. I blocked her mum shortly after, if people wonder why she was not already blocked was because in truth I got on very well with my ex’s family and did not see a need to block people I got on well with. Very long and probably no one will see this or I should just put a full story on Reddit itself lol

wow, while I will always despise cheating and never give second chances, the fact the wife fking PLANNED IT OVER MONTHS makes it 100x worse, and she even LIED ABOUT IT AND THOUGHT SHE COULD GET AWAY WITH IT. I don't know how op kids can even look at their mother anymore. like, planning it? after 33 years of going through thick and thin together? honestly it's taking everything I have to not spend 20 minutes of cursing her out on the internet. some people can work through cheating ( I could never do it, would feel even more disgusted then op does), and if it's an actual accident after like 10 years of marriage, maybe you can rebuild 10 years of trust, but 33? neither of them likely have 33 years of life left so you can't rebuild 33 years of trust anymore. she had every opportunity to come to her senses before her affair, but still went through with it anyways. mad respect for op being as civil about it as he could be, because I know I wouldn't be able to be as civil as him.
@knightsolaire8192
@knightsolaire8192 Жыл бұрын
the biggest kicker here is the actuall motivation for her cheating... she saw her marriage as some kind of beauty contest. Her man took his health in his own hands and improved his looks for her... but all she saw was that now she is the less attractive one and she deliberately planned to get some reinforcement from another man. Not for the actual sex or to have another relationship... just so that she could hold that over her husband in her head. And after all that she still thinks that OP will just return to her... this only implies that throughout all of their marriage she always considered herself to be some kind of a superior being to her husband.

@@knightsolaire8192girls are raised with the belief that they are the prize in the relationship. This viewpoint naturally places them above men. The man literally had only one ultimatum and that was literally to not cheat on their monogamous relationship, woman couldn't even do that - even planned the whole thing and only came clean because she got caught. She knew it was a make or break part of their relationship and it was literally him just asking to be singular to one another and she did it anyway, then had the gall to be shocked and upset when his response was to file for divorce. The decision to split everything 50/50 was actually a really good deal considering all of that.

should take into account where you live, laws. If the country/state where you live has common law marriage... then sadly you are better off getting married, with customized and personalized marriage contract, but do jump through hoops of both parties having their own lawyers and get a court to approve the contract if you can to minimize the chance of contract being voided later by a court and that is because the default marriage contract, that common law marriage puts people in is, bad, utterly terrible for males tbh common law marriage should be abolished

That’s why cheaters rationalisations always confuse me, if having sex with someone else is more important, which your actions show, then why do you even care about staying in the marriage??

This is one of the stories that I come back once a month. It's surreal how people tend to destroy their life for something that can be solved by communication and therapy. She wanted to grow old with op but she chose to F it and plan an encounter to cheat. This people take the SO for granted but they can't stand the consequences or go full denial. But the icing on the cake is when they suggest anything to salvage their F'd up. It's funny because they don't care about auto-humiliating themselves so bad in order to propose stupid things like "One side open relationship" but a divorce... HOW COULD YOU?!

That’s a stupid move, cheating is already stupid but this is like, advanced stupid 😂 I have no sympathy for cheaters, and it’s why I’m still single after 2 years after my last ex cheated and I caught them. because it's their mother. Growing up without a mother or father can be damaging. She cheated on her husband, not her son, so it's up to the son to decide if that was betraying him to. The father is pushing his son to not do what he's doing because he's worried that it'll negatively effect him.

Honestly, society has degraded beyond imagination at the very least western society has. The woman threw away 33 years of marriage for carnal pleasure. 33 YEARS! I get cravings from time to time like wanting to delete my physics teacher from existence but I never act on it just to see how it feels like. If she did that in south asia, middle east, sea etc places she would have suffered repercussions for the rest of her life. Yet somehow in western countries the concept of sexual freedom has been blurred so much that people now think getting married is a MISTAKE! People throughout ages had a universe goal of success in their minds. A loving family, good social status, a house, good career etc. But nowadays people(especially in the West) are considering these to be shackles! In the case of ops spouse she threw away the marriage herself which was bad for everyone involved but what surprises me was that couple and ops action after divorce. That couple was disgusting and twisted as for op he got over 33 years of marriage in about an year and a half and went back to intercourse with other people. Seriously, how do you do that? 33 years! I wouldn't even be able to get over that fact. Yet to people like him it's almost expected consciously or subconsciously. The world and society need boundaries. Permeable and tangible but definite boundaries otherwise this hapens. And it's no longer just the West. Their poisonous customs are bleeding into the world. Truly a shame at what has become of the world

While I 100% agree cheating is wrong, I'm seeing a lot of ppl just making a blanket statement that she must have been in her right mind while drunk and it almost feels like it's pairing with the claim that "drunk ppl can consent." Ik not everyone was saying that but others were. Pls remember everyone, a drunk person can't consent. Just like you can't make a sale legally while one of the parties are drunk, it applies to sex as well.

I will never understand cheaters. They never seem to try to talk to their partner and 80% of the time it's the woman that has the issue the man is oblivious to what's going on. Did you ever think of maybe try talking to your husband letting him know your feelings your frustrations maybe you guys can work on things. And then when you get caught you act surprised and then play the victim. That's what happened to me

She told you a dozen times why she did what she did the truth is the same as now as then. She kept saying one thing over and over in a dolled-up way you will take me back, you were a sure thing, you gave her all the loving and attention and gave her assurance, when women have that when they think they own you, they will lose any respect for you and run off and go on a dick hopping journey always do. Women love on conditions, when they know without a doubt that those conditions are met they will do whatever they please.
