Blown away by your presence in front of the camera. You are so well-spoken. It's clear that you are not just incredibly talented musically but that you have also been well educated. I'm a mom to 4 grown daughters, 2 stepdaughters, and 5 grandkids... and believe it or not, you connected to me through your music (via Stephanie Harlowe) I'm truly surprised at how young you are vs what I expected from your music. Keep on rocking!

Found you from the Coffee and crime show. I had a band 10 years, and its so freeing to be my creative self I never wanted to be on a competition. I wanted to just effuse my own soul through music as how I really feel. Heard one Soulful bar of Blood and I couldn't stop until I knew who sang that and heard more. I was so surprised that you are a petite blond, and such a voice in a body so young! Your voice with the gritty deep side is the sound of experiencing a lot of hard things in life, its so silky and powerful - forceful juxtaposition of amazing sound qualities. Just keep writing, you are important in the patch quilt of our planet. I love your collaborations on songs, that gives you so many facets for more audience to crave your music. I love that you explain all of this Voice workings. Never stop, and the person you can remind me of is like a willie nelson who gets to continue regardless and is even more substantial incredibly as he is aging.

This was really interesting! It's surprising to me that they have you fly out so many separate times.. I feel like most other shows keep you there for the whole filming time (after the auditions etc)? Had you continued on to further in the show, would you have kept going back between home and LA or would it have meant staying consistently for the rest of the filming time? Thanks for sharing your experience!

If I had made it to the next round they would’ve kept me there, because at that point the show was on the air.

How about the requirement "If you are selected as a participant, you must be willing to travel to and reside at one or more undisclosed locations in the United States for several weeks"? Is it literally like that, or you can just travel only as needed? If not, does it start as soon you go to LA for auditions and got chairs turned? Or occasionally? Also, do they dress you up for auditions or you bring your own outfit? Thank you in advance!

@@graceabetria yes it’s literally like that. I was in LA for over a month at one point. Once the show airs, you basically stay out there until you get out. Bring outfits, but they also have an entire wardrobe team that will hook you up.

Did they require you have them as your manager or boksing agent for a period of time after you are done with the show, meaning you can’t get book gigs by yourself that it as to Go through them ? Thanks

Does the song selection matter at the beginning of the audition process? Specifically, do you need to do a song that people will have heard, or could you choose a song with less notoriety, so long as you sing it well?

At what point do they go to a contestants hometown to film their story with family members etc? And were you able to bring your partner to stay in the hotel with you? Or do they keep you away from family, spouses, etc and isolated in a room? - great audition by the way - I remember your audition well ❤️
@AmandaLeePeers2 жыл бұрын
That’s a good question. They never came to my hometown so I’m not sure. I would imagine it’s pretty early on. No. We were kept in a separate hotel then whatever guests we had there, including partners. They have you share rooms with other contestants. Thank you!

Hi!! I have a video audition, I am not nervous about it but I am struggling with my song choice. HOW did you choose your songs?😊 Thank you in advance
@AmandaLeePeers2 жыл бұрын
Congrats on auditioning! They want you to choose popular songs that are more recent. They prefer mid tempo to fast songs. They encourage you to put your own spin on them. Pick songs that show your style and personality. That’s what I did. Good luck!
