This is really how I aspire to be, the way I try to live my life. I done put myself through so much bullshit.... and I'm with her 100% on the whole taking advantage thing. It's just hard to see the weak being preyed on..... I been weak. And there's times I been strong. Come at me when I'm strong all day everyday but don't kick me when I'm already down, c'mon now.

Hella powerful interview! I was captivated the entire time. I remember when Deb ran with the Lady Nomads and was raising hell in Ajax park off the Van Wyck. She was no joke and had mad respect. My Cousins were 7Crowns and Deb ran in them circles. We lived across from 40 Projects and this bought back tons of memories, some good - some bad. Deb needs her own show and/or a movie as "the game is to be sold and re-told" and she's one of the few women in the hip hop industry who has the credibility and integrity to do it with the authenticity that it requires. Salute!

I love Deb’s voice, it’s unique, distinct, and it gives her character, especially with that accent. Lol. I could close my eyes and if I hear her voice I’d know exactly who it is, cause there’s no one else like it. Everyone’s voice is unique, of course people can try to imitate it or impersonate it, but it’ll NEVER sound EXACTLY like the person who they’re impersonating. It’s a lot of good Denzel Washington impersonators out here but I could always tell if the real Denzel is speaking even if I close my eyes because everyone’s voice is unique. Good gave it to you and only you.

I agree Deb's narrative should only be told by her. Whether she knows it or not, she inspires all with a strong message: Never be ashamed of your past and speak your truth. That man who was silent the whole time, and finally spoke... LORD, God bless that man!!! ❤️ We need the bibles back in school. We need strong women like Deb in these communities. We need these intelligent men in these communities. We are living in the last days and Satan's agenda is to carry as many people to hell.

Best interview ever. I just wish interviewers let them talk and tell their story . Without over talking or cutting them off. Especially people like her. All her words were wisdom for young women like me .

The best interview. We 60 and 70s babies built different. Our parents didn’t play. I couldn’t come in on adult conversation. Deb is the truth old G. Deb said it’s a squirting game and that’s a fact.
