Hi Bo, first of all wishing you a great New Year. Being a long time subscriber I am still admiring your down to earth reviews. In particular I really like that you still use items in you EDC without introducing new items for no reason. Looking forward to more great content in 2023.

how does the multi cable thing work and where can I get one? (with all the different colored cables)
@Youknowthebo Жыл бұрын
It does have a usba connection on one side which you attach to a powerbrick or powerbank. And the other side has lightning, usbc and micro USB plugs. These can be connected to multiple phones. I got this cable from Amazon. Unfortunately, this version isn't available anymore, but if you search for "multi charging cable" you should find an alternative

I found the Porterpen cases by The Brown Buffalo (especially the recent collaboration between TBB and UAG) to be perfect for my EDC. They have plenty of capacity to fit my Charmast or Anker external battery chargers and all of my cables. It's one big dump cavity unlike the Evergoods CAP2 or Peak Design Tech Pouch (both of which I also love) and ideal for minimal travel in an otherwise packed bag. I love the ring hanger on the pouch so I can hang it from my bag or at my destination.

What multiport cable is that? Thx
@Youknowthebo2 жыл бұрын
I got that one years ago on Amazon. I would not recommend that one, because it still has two micro USB ports and only one usbc. So it's probably best to look for an updated one on your Amazon

Hello Bo, you could gain wait in your pouch by having these new tiny USB C Gan chargers. Much smaller than the one you have today and faster to charge any phone…
@Youknowthebo2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I will Google those chargers ✌️😉

I feel like I'm changing mine on a weekly basis. I alternate between the two wire dopps from goruck, the goruck field pocket, and an aer bag that they no longer sell. I've been thinking about the evergoods 2l since I've been loving the sling.
@Youknowthebo2 жыл бұрын
The Evergoods cap2l is amazing. But it is bigger than this one, check out my video about that one

Happy new year to you too. That's actually not a bracelet. It was the dog collar of my dog that passed away a few months ago

Hy Bo. Thanks for posting your podcasts public. On the one with tom from packhacker which where recorded a year ago or longer you wished für a goruck xpack with orange inner lining. Didnt they made this exact bag with carryology in 2022? Did you know that at the time? Were you wistleblowing??😅

USB-A? Common bro
@Youknowthebo Жыл бұрын
Having a universal plug is great in theory. But still a lot of bigger workstations have some USB a ports. Furthermore, personally I really dislike usbc from a professional standpoint. The plugs are way too flimsy, break or wear out fast. And from a physical standpoint it is understandable. But here we are and I don't think usbc is going anywhere soon.
@jackeddemon Жыл бұрын
@@Youknowthebo lool funniest comment I’ve ever read. The whole world is going to USBC, but you’re going out of your way to use USBA 🤯😂
@Youknowthebo Жыл бұрын
@@jackeddemon I guess I did not phrase it correctly. On my system I still have a bunch of USB a ports. Plus multiple chargers that are USB a. Are you suggesting I should not use them or just generate trash just because USB a is not that common anymore? Furthermore, you need to admit that some of usbc plugs (eg phone chargers or ssd) are starting to get loose after a lot of plugging and unplugging.

Thanks for watching. You're entitled to your opinion and don't need to like my face. I always try to have a split of about 80% b roll and 20% a roll. But looking at this video's timeline, I can see that it was more 70/30. So I get where you are coming from. But I honestly will continue creating my videos my way ✌️😉
