Hi there I am 20 year old boy from pakistan. I recently got diagnosed with horizontal jerk nystagmus. My vision is 6/6 on both eys. I dont have nystagmus on my primary gaze but it is present on end points. My left eye has nystagmus and on my right eye there is no nystagmus. I consulted few doctors but they said it can not be treated. I dont feel it when i Am travelling by a bus or car or when i am moving. I just feel it when i am siting in a constant position and it is just on the left eye. I think it is latent nystagmus. Kindly help me with this issue please. I doubt everyone is interested in that especially considering that each case isn’t the same and treatment is customized to the individual and the wrong thing may yet make it worse. Besides there are many steps to dealing with each level and progression not only mechanically but from an autonomic standpoint. Think about it if it was one size fits all why wasn’t she able to be helped by other docs she consulted prior to coming to us? Truth is, you are always free seek out what exercises you may and it may yet be what you need, but this comment had to be made for the benefit of others so they understand the reality of how it works and what is required especially in complex cases.
