You can also pivot on the toe of the foot on the opening side. Open the hip, but keep the toe down. Can help folks who can't stay balanced on the pass.

Chewy, I think I have a problem I perfectly realise that I'm still a total beginner (1 month) to BJJ and don't stress when I can't get a technique right or something like that But I have this problem, when I spar I'm slow and not aggresive, and for so, I sometimes got beat up by someone that's just scramblin around and didn't even know what they're doing How can I fix this and how can I activate that aggresiveness when I roll (not the mat bully way of course) just a way to make me think fast and escape guard more effectively? Thanks -Mike
@prandz4205 жыл бұрын
Michael Angelo just keep at it a while longer and be defensively minded. This is to stop yourself and others from getting injured. You will need to learn moves from every major position before you can really use “aggression” effectively. Using aggression before you know the ins and outs of rolling is kind of a recipe for injury for either you or your training partner.

I’ve really been liking your channel and I’m getting into BJJ (soon I wanna start boxing). I’m 17 and there’s just something about fighting that feels right for me but I had a question. 1. Do you know a lot of fighters (MMA/BJJ/etc) who fight with contacts? Or fighters who have glasses but take them off for fights? I have glasses and I can’t see that great when I take them off so I was thinking I needed contacts but I didn’t know if a lot of fighters actually use them or if they constantly get knocked out.
