That's why we drill it into their heads how to react under pressure. I put my wife in situations that make her uncomfortable just so she won't hopefully freeze up when she needs to make a life-or-death choice. Women are wired different then us, that's just the way it is.

Damn man, I had a call similar to that back in ‘98, fatal, my sister, so I do know and have felt that lump in the throat and still nothing takes it away. I’m retired driving now, 30 + years, no accidents, no tickets, and for 25 years of my career with her riding shotgun as my angel I finally made it off the road. I have been there with my wife and unborn child. The day it happened a friend called me and told me my wife was in a wreck. Traffic was backed up and I drove east bound in the west bound lane. When I got there thank God she was in a bigger vehicle. I will never forget that day as long as I live. This was 39 years ago and it still is like today.
